Good value for money, clean and new property with friendly & helpful staff

It’s very clean and the staff is friendly. There is free breakfast and The breakfast selection is great with a good variety of breads

Sehr gute Unterkunft für ein Wochenende in Mainz

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt am neugestalteten Hafen, die neue Promenade lädt zum Flanieren ein. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist zwar neu, aber reich an Baumängeln; die Klinkerriemchen außen fallen ab (daher steht ringsherum ein Bauzaun), ein Fahrstuhl funktioniert nicht, Türen sind schlecht eingestellt, die Zimmer sind hellhörig, die Lüftung ist selbst im mittleren Modus sehr laut und pustet ungeachtet der Einstellung nur warme Luft, das kleine Fenster lässt sich nur ankippen, also hat man die Wahl zwischen Dampfsauna und Ersticken.
Die Betten und Kissen sind unbequem, das ist aber eine sehr individuelle Einschätzung.
Das Frühstück ist eher im unteren Budget-Bereich, die Auswahl ist dürftig und die Qualität durchschnittlich.

Sauber und ruhig
Pros:

Ein gutes Hotel fürs Geld! Alles ist sehr minimalistisch, aber das Zimmer war sauber. Ein besonderes Plus: kein Teppichboden! Das Frühstück war sehr einfach, aber da will ich nicht meckern.

Cons:

Das Einzige, was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat: Die Touristensteuer wurde uns doppelt berechnet. Wir hatten sie schon online bezahlt und mussten sie an der Rezeption noch einmal zahlen. Aber gut, es ging um vier Euro – das können wir verschmerzen.

Lage, nicht weit zum Rheinufer. Modern und hübsch. Gutes Frühstück. Zur Innenstadt zu fuss ca 15 Minuten. Bushaltestellen in der Nähe.

Danke an das sehr freundliche Personal. Ich durfte mein Fahrrad mit in das Zimmer nehmen.
Das erlebt man selten.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut.
