Very comfy bed, nice little space to stay in whilst exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan. Great rooftop restaurant/bar with amazing views. Windows are very noise cancelling but there wasn’t much noise anyway.
Water leaked quite a lot through shower door seal. Rooftop restaurant is separate so can’t access at all times.
Lovely staff, comfortable rooms, good location
Need to keep the room stocked with enough cups, plates, bowls, cutlery for the number of guests that you have. Initially, there were none, then they brought 1, then i had to request a 2nd.
One day of coffee in the room, yoga mat and foam roller. Friendly staff.
Noose/Robe art work was terrible and triggering, fire alarm system fluke on the last night 9/5/25 was intense and made for a rough morning, uncomfortable mattress, slippery bathroom floors.
Liked the comfort of the bed, but it would have been too small for two people. This was marketed as a queen sized bed but it was actually a full size bed. The bathroom had a nice shower and offered shampoo/conditioner/hand or body soap, which was nice.
Sitting area not too comfy. Sit on the bed.
Bad experience. The fire alarm went off at 1am and stayed on until 9am. Clearly there was an issue, but when I asked if they could call the alarm company they said they could not, so I'm not sure what was going on. It was awful. Truly 1am to 9am. In the morning I spoke with the manager and asked if they could do something nice for us since it was such an awful night. He did not apologize and instead said: "I think you can understand that this isn't our fault." OK. But how about an apology for the experience, and any offer of something, like complimentary breakfast? Anything? I asked him if the hotel would be doing something for us and he said he would call me back. That was 5 days ago so I don't think I'm going to be getting a call. I get it that the hotel couldn't help the faulty fire alarm system, although... really nothing can be done between 1am and 9am? Isn't that kind of an emergency? And, I would at least expect some kindness and an apology. When we walked in upon arrival no one offered to help us with bags even though there were 3 staff members and no other guests in the lobby. I wouldn't have mentioned that normally-- it's not a huge deal-- but it does seem like there's an issue with hospitality at the hotel. Even an inexpensive motel helps with bags, and I imagine would apologize for an 8 hour alarm...?
Poor hospitality, 8 hour fire alarm, no apology or gesture in response to what happened.
The staff were supper helpful. We arrived early so we had to store our luggage. But only only did they hold our luggage, we were able to check-in a few hours earlier. The decor is also top-notch.
