Everything we could have wanted and more.
Pros:

The best location, tremendous breakfast, comfortable beds and good shower, lovely staff. Excellent attached restaurant. Couldn't be better. Absolutely the best option for visiting the Waterloo battlefield.

Hervorragendes Abendessen in dem angegliederten Restaurant.

Cons:

Der Rauchmelder blinkt alle 30 Sekunden in leuchtend grün. Bei diesem Discolicht ist es
in einem kleinen Raum ein Problem einzuschlafen.

Hôtel familial + bon resto + localisation idéale = valeur sûre autour de Waterloo
Pros:

Très belle découverte à seulement quelques minutes de la Butte du Lion.

Parking facile et pratique, ce qui est toujours un vrai plus dans la région
Chambre conviviale, bien pensée, avec une touche originale : chacune porte le nom de personnages historiques
Personnel accueillant, professionnel et attentif

Côté restauration, excellente surprise avec le restaurant Grill de l’Empereur :
👉 viandes au feu de bois parfaitement maîtrisées, savoureuses et généreuses

Une adresse chaleureuse, sans prétention mais avec beaucoup de charme.
Je recommande vivement et j’y retournerai avec plaisir.

Pros:

Hotel Le1815 enjoys an exceptional location over the Waterloo battlefield and the iconic Lion’s Mound. It provides a lovely green view with fresh windy air. The hotel room, furnituren and bed, is very basic. The Internet is super-fast!

Cons:

The condition of the Le1815 does not match its outstanding setting as the room felt worn and dated, which makes its interior difficult to maintain freshness and comfort. In addition, the communication from the hotel after the reservation included several messages that were not entirely clear and felt somewhat unnecessary.
