Great location, friendly staff, good food selection for breakfast, great room and amenities.

A modern and comfortable hotel on a quiet avenue, yet within a short walk of a metro station. The rooms were spacious, the lobby was cozy and inviting, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options to suit different tastes.
There was an excellent Italian restaurant nearby, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The hotel is not that great. Rooms are very tight and have no day light even with window shades open. They were also not very clean, i found hair everywhere in the bathroom. There is a fabric headboard above the bed which is full of stains. They do have a breakfast buffet but its not worth the price charged, bread was stale, fruits were from the can. Overall it was a bit disappointing. The lobby uses up so much space for nothing. we had just come in from a few days in Osaka after staying at the Courtyard and this place is nothing in comparison.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent.

She went above and beyond to assist us by coordinating and communicating on our behalf, making everything much easier and more convenient. She even kindly helped us by making phone calls to Osaka regarding our work-related matters and provided valuable assistance throughout our stay.

Her dedication and willingness to help made a big difference, and we truly appreciate her exceptional service. Thank you, Kayoko, for your warm hospitality and support. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

The area was great, and seemed to be a good location close to many tourist places, as well as a good local matcha tea stall. The room was big and spacious, as we got a family room. The hotel had all you needed during your stay. Staff were lovely, friendly, and very helpful.

While the rooms are on the smaller side, this was not an issue for us as we primarily used them to rest and sleep. The hotel enjoys a peaceful location while still being within easy walking distance of Kyoto's main areas. What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff, who were always welcoming and eager to assist. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the hotel to others visiting Kyoto

The hotel was actually larger than I expected, and the overall atmosphere felt comfortable, modern, and well-managed. The check-in experience was lovely. The team was warm, friendly, and attentive, and I really appreciated how they took care of my birthday stay.

The room assigned to me was beautiful and had the street view I requested, which made the stay feel even more special. The room size was very charming and practical. It was not huge, but the layout was well-designed and functional, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

Housekeeping was also very thorough and attentive. The room felt clean and well cared for throughout my stay. One of my favorite features was the air purifier in the room. It made a big difference and added a lot of comfort, especially after long days of walking around Kyoto.

The location was also lovely and convenient. I liked the neighborhood and the overall feeling of the area. There were many international guests, which gave the hotel a nice, lively travel atmosphere.

Another feature I appreciated was the self-service laundry area downstairs. The washing machines had a locking system, which made me feel that my belongings were safe while doing laundry. It was very practical and reassuring for travelers.

Very well located, great breakfast, lovely rooms. Really enjoyed the stay here and would definitely go back there if I ever visited Kyoto again.

This hotel is lovely and in a brilliant location. The thing that let's it down is housekeeping im not sure they understand what cleaning means as for three days I came back to my room with rubbish on the tables and dirty cups eventually I put it in the hallway. Not once was my floor hoovered and basic cleaning had not be done...... negatives aside I would like to give ten out ten to the bar staff in particular tsuyoshi. He has been absolutely amazing from our very first day. Not only is he good at his job hes amazing and giving advice on were to visit and local knowledge hes travel tips ensured we had a marvelous holiday. Overall this is a lovely hotel with great staff just the housekeeping staff let it down.
