the best hotel we stayed in our Turkey trip
Pros:

It was a pure pleasure to stay at Kaliruha hotel during my trip in southern Turkey.
Localization is just perfect - in a quiet and safe neighbourhood but only a few steps away from the main square and attractions.
Contact with personel was fantastic!
Typical Turkish breakfast was abundant, with a plenty of warm and cold snacks options.

Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay here. Everything was wonderful, but a few details truly made it exceptional and incredibly comfortable.
The owner is kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms and shared spaces are beautiful—full of character, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, while still being very comfortable. The bed was excellent, the shower great, and all the amenities you might need were provided.
Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with care.
Even before our arrival, we received clear and detailed instructions about parking, which made a big difference and saved us a lot of stress. Every recommendation from the owner was spot on and added so much to our experience.
We would happily stay here again.

Wonderful
Pros:

The staff was wonderful special note to Baris.
The accommodation were excellent, location perfect for walking and breakfast was good.
Baris was very helpful even helping arrange this that are not his responsibility and always happy to help. I don’t think he ever slept.

Cons:

Nothing.
You must keep in mind it is an old mansion and sometimes things may need to be addressed. But they will do it immediately.

Persoonlijke aandacht en advies, zodat de dagen daar met activiteiten goed ingevuld kunnen worden
Pros:

Manager Baris Ayman biedt de gasten voor aankomst al alle mogelijkheden, zodat het verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk verloopt. Van tevoren nam hij contact met ons op om te vragen of we een shuttledienst of iets anders nodig hadden.

Het hotel bevindt zich op een locatie met zeer smalle straatjes, waar de auto’s niet in kunnen. De auto’s worden kosteloos op een bewaakte parkeerplaats gestald, in opdracht van het hotel. Het centrum is op loopafstand. De manager zorgt ervoor dat alle koffers van het voertuig naar het hotel worden gebracht en andersom.

Manager Baris geeft goed advies over de bezienswaardigheden in en nabij de stad en kun je bij hem met alle vragen terecht. Hij onderhoudt voortdurend contact met de hotelgasten.

Hotelmedewerkster Emine is verantwoordelijk voor het ontbijt en bedient iedereen op een vriendelijke en efficiënte manier.

Ein sehr gutes aussergewöhnlich schönes Hotel mit herzlicher Atmosphäre.

Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, sehr zentral gelegen. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll und stimmungsvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Transfer/Taxidienst mit Hasan über das Hotel war ausgezeichnet. Die Leitung des Hotels, Herr Barış sowie die Angestellten Ali, Emine und Hatice waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein top Hotel, sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

Auf die Frage hin, was uns am Hotel nicht gefallen hat, da fällt uns nichts ein. :)

Pros:

The hotel is in the Old City, near a good retaurant and just a stones through from the market. It is safe and one can walk eveywhere from there.
Breakfast was great and the rooms comfortable and big.
Our host Baris was extremely friendly and helpfull. He did whatever he could to make our stay as comfortable as he could.
We will definately stay with Baris again on our return to Urfa.

Très bel hôtel
Pros:

Le lieu est très bien entretenu, propre, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Tout est accessible à pied depuis l’hôtel. Great location and lovely staff
Pros:

Excellent location. Incredibly helpful staff, especially Mr Barış gives you all sorts of clues about Urfa including where to see and where to eat. He also recommended a taxi driver dedicated to Kaliruha customers which you can take to go to Göbekli tepe, airport, bus station and the museums.

Cons:

The bathroom needs renovation. Towels need to be renewed, they are clean but old. filter coffee options for breakfast can be nice to add. The lighting of the room and bathroom are weak and the switches of the lights are reachable from the beds.

Wonderful Place in the Old Town
Pros:

This is a wonderful place and everything and everybody made us feel at home. An authentic traditional house with lovely courtyards and rooftops. Very comfortable beds and great bathrooms, quiet but very central location. A highlight is the great breakfast by Amina, and the friendly and supportive Baris at reception.

Wir durften in einem Palast in der historischen Altstadt von Sanliurfa übernachten.
Pros:

Kurz nach der Buchung hat sich Herr Barış bei und mit ersten Informationen gemeldet. Dank seinen Informationen haben wir den bewachten Parkplatz ein paar Schritte vom Hotel leicht gefunden. Bei der Ankunft hat er uns viele Tipps zur Stadt gegeben.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und ist mit allen Luxus, was nicht selbstverständlich ist, ausgestattet. Aufgrund des kalten Wetter Anfang April schätzten wir den großen Elektroheizkörper sehr. Das Bett war sehr bequem, die Dusche hatte hohen Wasserdruck und heisses Wasser, Wasser, Kaffee und Tee standen zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist vollkommen ruhig und sehr sicher. Ein paar Meter entfernt befinden sich sehr gute Restaurants.

Sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten sind leicht zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das allerbeste ist auch das fantastische türkische Frühstück. Wir bekamen so viele köstliche Speisen das der Tisch schon zu klein war.
