One of A Kind Resort @Trikora Beach - Bintan

First got to know about this resort via Lemon8 app where some posts described the stay as similar to being in Maldives.

Truly enjoyed our stay here, we booked the Villa Aqua for 2 nights. It was truly as reviewed! The view was spectacular, overlooking the sea, and it was a very relaxing stay for us. The photos are unedited.

The villa was huge and comfortable, especially the bathroom was particularly big. Bed was comfortable too. Overall, cleanliness including the bedsheets was on point as well! Just 1 small suggested improvement was the cleanliness of the towels.

Service was great! The staff were polite and helpful, especially this front desk staff named Rey! He went out of his way on my queries, and I am grateful.

Although this place is rather far away from the ferry terminal (1 hour drive), it was worth it. It was also the reason this stay felt like a tranquil paradise, and truly a getaway. We did hire a driver to bring us for activities on some days, so travelling around wasn't an issue. For the meals we had at the resort, the food was reasonably priced and pretty delicious as well.

Overall, highly recommended stay for anyone heading to Bintan!

Het personeel was geweldig. Op een avond werd er op de deur geklopt en stond er iemand van het personeel met gratis ijs voor de deur. Omdat ik zo snel mogelijk weg wou van het afschuwelijke Mutiara "resort" (zie mijn review daar) had ik me een week vergist in de boeking data, waardoor eerst mijn boeking niet gevonden kon worden. Gelukkig kon dat omgeboekt worden. We kregen de transfer op de terugreis geheel gratis als attentie van het hotel. De receptie is altijd bereikbaar en zeer behulpzaam met het boeken van excursies. De huisjes zijn erg ruim, met 2 verdiepingen. Er is een dorpje bij het resort op 1km afstand (is goed te lopen maar als je wat praat met de dorpelingen willen ze je ook wel brengen, achterop de brommer).

Staff were very friendly. They have only 1 restaurant but the food and variety was good. I love the sea view and the fact that you can actually walk down to the sea but with caution as the water wasn't very clear. I like that it's very private, quiet and safe. A good place to relax, chill and read a book. Would be good to add a mesh door screen so we can open the sliding door and let the sea breeze into the room without the bugs (and stray cats!). I love the spacious bathroom and automatic toilet with seat warmer and many cool features. Wifi was good.

I love villa aqua. Love the room. Very breezy. Love the pool and the spacious toilet. Love the resort room service. We ordered our lunch and dinner in our room on our 1st day. Food was awesome. We basically love everything about the resort. The staff are friendly too. Will come and stay here again!

We chose the villa for its unique, direct-over-the-water location—ideal for my husband to fish from the deck while I relaxed in the private pool. The beach combing was fantastic, and our family loved discovering starfish, crabs, and clams at low tide. The kids also enjoyed the complimentary paddleboard. The staff were consistently friendly and gave us a wonderful recommendation for a nearby seafood restaurant, which was amazing—great value with fresh, delicious food.

The receptionist named Intan was the most lovely person. She was so helpful and was great to have her greet me. The area where the villa is located is far from the port however it is peaceful and quiet. It was a really good place to relax. I also loved the 3 cats who live on the property. Loved greeting them at the door each morning 🥹

Location:although far from ferry terminal, the secludedness gives a tranquil view of the sea and nature.
High potential: villa with private pool/jacuzzi, for villa aqua, you will have the paddle boat to use. Explore the sea at your doorstep during low tide. Sunset/sunrise views were amazing
Staff especially restaurant staff are helpful and accommodating. Food (local cuisine) is yummy

All was good!

A remote and peaceful location, clean ocean to swim in with direct access from room. Private pool was excellent with a baby as the baby could nap in full sight of us inside while we took turns in the pool. Room was spacious and clean. Great buffet breakfast on days that it was served (on days it wasn't busy enough, an a la carte meal was brought to your room). Excellent menu range for dinners and cocktails. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and happy to arrange transfers and day trips.
