The Blue Elysée

Owner should have had better communications. The day prior, even though I had attempted to contact the owner, I never received any replies. I had to call the owner the day prior to have him send check-in instructions. He sent them the day of and then required an online deposit which was never told to me and difficult to do as I was traveling form the US to Paris at the time. Apartment was adequate and in good location but in the end it all worked out.

The location of the property is just great. Its right on one of Paris' most popular commercial streets- des Champs Elysees! Great for shopping and great for dining; lots of options to suit every budget! Arc de Triomphe is just a 10 minutes walk (750m) and Eiffel tower is around 30 minutes ( 2 kms). However, there is no personal touch from the owner in any shape ir from. Very cold and distant. Available by text ( will not reply to emails until you text!). We had to cut short our 2 hour guided tour of the Louvre to 30 minutes as the owner would not let us leave our bags in the apartment for even an extra 45-60 minsutes!! Very strict on a 11 am checkout. They offer a link to nannybags for EUR 6 per bag but those folks are not open until 10 am!! Very frustrating. Despite its great location I wouldnt stay here again due to the owner's indifferent and cold attitudue. Seems like all thy want is just your money!

Wonderful apartment. Comfortable, stylish and clean. All amenities as promised. Incredible location right on Champs-Elysee. Entry seems odd through a shopping gallery into a secure building that is mostly professional offices. But it turned out to be ideal. It was quiet and felt very safe. The shopping gallery had a Starbucks right downstairs for the ultimate convenience for our morning coffee and pastry. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a proper enclosed walk-in with adequate hot water and a nice rain shower head and a wand. The sofa was comfy. Kitchen was basic but functional with a mini fridge and a two burner cooktop. No microwave or oven. But there was a tea kettle, toaster and Krups espresso machine. It was all quite cute and useful. Check-in was easy using very clear instructions. There was a taxi stand right outside the building which was so convenient. Fabulous restaurants a two minute walk in any direction. The place was practically perfect. I would go back in a heartbeat. Only 4 downsides: 1) it was hard to regulate heat so the place was easily overheated (which is way better than being too cold), 2) the TV had cable, mostly French of course, and I couldn’t figure out if it was even possible to watch streaming, 3) the water temperature in the shower could sometimes fluctuate depending on water usage elsewhere in the building and 4) they would not consider early check-in.

Amazing stay! The location is perfect and we felt very safe in the flat. Host sent nice email with instructions was very smooth. Would love to come back !
