Florence and the Machine
Pros:

Location and accommodations exceeded expectations, full kitchen meant maximum comfort with a publix within walking distance. Definitely felt safe as well with the security features. Multiple restaurants all surrounding the hotel.

Cons:

Our room was close to the garage and we heard squealing tires all night, that would be something I inquire when booking again

Arena convenience!
Pros:

We were in town for game 7 hockey game and the location could not have been more perfect! Right next to the arena, tons of restaurants, a Publix, all within walking distance. The room was comfortable and clean and the kitchenette was great to have for the coffee machine, microwave, and large fridge. I used the fitness center on the rooftop with great equipment and views.
We had the best stay and will be back!

Amazing experience
Pros:

Great overall experience, accommodations were clean and spacious. Staff members were pleasant and very accommodating. Common areas from the business center, to the gym, to the pool were all well maintained. I would recommend the Roost to anyone who is looking for a short or longterm stay in a very centralized location in downtown Tampa!! ENJOY!!

Great stay in an exciting part of downtown Tampa
Pros:

Stayed at the Roost Tampa for my nephew's wedding. The room was clean and attractive. Amenities within the room were stellar, from the refrigerated "drawer" to the common area which contained espresso and coffee machines and all the necessary kitchen utensils (including a wine bottle opener...) that you would need on vacation. I was able to book on Expedia significantly cheaper than through the hotel website so I was able to save money by doing so, which made the stay in one of Tampa's nicest areas of downtown more affordable. Lots of great restaurants, live music opportunities and within walking distance of a grocery store as well. The staff were friendly and efficient and helpful. I had a great stay and would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in the downtown Tampa area.

Excellent Stay
Pros:

If I could do 6 out of 5 I would. This was the perfect location for a lighting game and was priced well for a room that included kitchen amenities. The coworking space came in handy and the pool looked beautiful

5 star stay
Pros:

Excellent stay. We were pleasantly surprised. We booked for an event, so it was just one night. Wish we could of stayed longer. We will be back.

Didn't have breakfast. Chose location because it was near an event we attended.

Cons:

EVERYTHING! There were no chairs in the room...no phone...no clock at the bedside. The common area kitchen had TWO coffee cups for the 7-8 guest rooms. No go cups next to the coffee maker. The closet in our room was unnecessarily gigantic...space could have been used for more room in the bed area. Totally unsatisfactory concept.

Fantastic!
Pros:

This place is fantastic. We will come here again next year. The room is beautiful and has everything you need. It was priced better than the Hilton the rest of the family was staying in and was 10 times nicer. Walking distance to the convention center. PERFECT!
