Casa Pelayo

That our rooms were double booked and we had to scramble to find a new, much lesser accommodation. Supposed to be a free stay but we were charged for this on February 13.

location was good! 15 min walk to Old San Juan. 8 min walk to beach.

Loved my stay here. The apartment was spacious and had great character. Location was perfect, about 20 a minute walk to Old San Juan and 15 minute walk to the beach. It is off a busy road so there is some street noise but overall would recommend and would stay here again myself.

We loved the patio and the rooftop, absolutely lovely.

They were attentive, respectful and accommodating. When a storm was coming they upgraded us to a different unit with generators, so we were never without power. The only negative thing I could say is there was no toaster or microwave to warm up food but there was a counter top stove, no oven.

Great place to stay in San Juan. Clean, safe and good location. Service was over the top. Only suggestion would be to beef up the kitchen a bit. The burner plate that served as a stove was very weak and took a long time to cook anything, and the pots, pans, utensils, etc were minimal. For an establishment that works so hard otherwise to make your stay pleasant, it wouldn't be too hard to close that gap. But I have no problem recommending this place as we enjoyed our stay and the service was great.

Staff very friendly

I like the service done by Miguel he was a amazing host. Very friendly personel, patient and helpful. We had and isue and was solved the same day. I will love to come back one day.

My stay was great love my privacy customers service was great. The locals was friendly overall.

Loved the place once we got settled! A bunch of cool places to eat right in the area. Arrived at night, and it was dark and new, so our kids were a little concerned. Come daylight, everybody felt very at ease!

Staff was excellent, great communication, and awesome suggestions on activities.

This is part of a group of small properties, so check in is in one central location, as is parking. All VERY close. No problem with our 2 kids and bags.

My kids loved the food truck at the park because of the food, colorful murals, and the mama and baby chicks roaming. We loved the food and atmosphere!

Excellent property! The location is very close to Old San Juan, and it has a lot of fun amenities, such as food trucks and a workspace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The unit is super clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

I recommend Casa Pelayo. The staff were amazing; I cannot say enough good things about them! The rental apartment was clean, bed comfy and had good A/C. It had all the necessities - I would not call it a super luxury place, but it was a good value for the price. It’s a little quirky because you check in at one office, but then walk one block over to get to the units. (There is parking nearby so you can unload luggage right by the unit.) It’s about a 20 min walk from Old San Juan. There is a fenced parking area, which is nice. It is rocky and we got a flat tire, but the staff bent over backwards to help us, gave us a bottle of champagne for our trouble, and also a late check out. That’s how you handle something going wrong for your guest! There is a roof top deck with good views. I would definitely stay there again!

Experiencing Puerto Rico for the first time was made so fun and easy with the staff always giving us ideas on where to go, while making my family and I feel so welcome and safe. The views, sites, restaurants, locals, were all amazing and we cannot wait to go back!

Beside the sofa bed being disgusting everything else was pretty nice. It was a little cozy apartment they did have local food and stores which was very convenient. Locals were super nice. The ac was amazing and yes so was the hot water. It had Netflix a full functioning kitchen although we didn’t use it. They did hit my rental in the parking lot so be mindful I’m pretty sure it was staff because I saw a women whom worked the in a white car also hit another vehicle and literally drove off I mean her whole back light fell off lol. However I would highly recommend this place 9/10 plus they were shooting a moving and they were still super accommodating. Shut out to Las Puertas Café owner was super amazing and yes smash burger was lit. All the locals were nice I will come back just to say hi, on my next trip.

I will be nice to have a microwave

I really loved this rental. Very nice and clean. Nice to have the separation from the kids. Parking is easy. It is very convenient to Old San Juan. Everything you would want is no more than 15 minutes away unless you're doing excursions. I'd most definitely stay here again!
