Very attentive staff. Amenities were great. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. Decor in the room was very nice as well. Would definitely choose to stay here again.
Pros: The property and aesthetic is cute, quaint, and chic. It only has 6 rooms, so it feels quiet and intimate, great for solo travelers or couples. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of this property is the wonderful smell (of both the lobby and the room). The staff was friendly and very attentive. The master suite is beautiful: very spacious, comfortable, and greatly decorated. The shower is definitely a highlight (though it takes a couple of minutes for the water to heat). Breakfast is simple, but delicious. La Valise is a small haven in the center of SMA.
Cons: Because the room is so large and open, the A/C does not feel as cool (and I'm a stickler for having a cold room come bedtime). The pool and jacuzzi are heated, but not regularly, so you have to notify the team in advance, which does not allow for much spontaneity or last-minute plans. Although the hotel is greatly located in the city center, its street is closed off to cars, so one can't load/unload in front of the hotel, but rather on the corner and walk with luggage to/from the hotel and car, which is not the most convenient or comfortable.
This is a beautiful property and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The bathtub was so big you floated in it when you stretched out. The pool area was gorgeous and reception and our room smelled wonderful! The staff was terrific. They brought chocolates and mineral water every night and the day we arrived they gave us a complimentary shot of mescal. The hotel is in the Zona Central which is a little noisy but worth it for the great location.

Very stylish hotel. Perfect location in the middle of the busy historic centre, on a quiet pedestrianised road. The Conceirge team were very friendly and responsive. Breakfast was great and ordering it via WhatsApp was very convenient. The room and bathroom was huge! Housekeeping did a great job of the daily cleaning and turn down service. Free minibar was much appreciated. Loved the small touches, like welcome drinks and hand written note.
Minor niggles: The room is bit on the dark side, even with all the lights on. Too many light switches everywhere, which had to turned on and off individually. We tripped over the coffee table legs serval times as the legs stick out. The dressing area could do with some drawers so that you can unpack your suitcase, and some slippers would have nice touch as the flooring is rough textured stone.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. But what made it truly special was the incredible customer service provided by Luis and Nico. They made us feel right at home. And let’s not forget the hotel’s perfect location. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. Very personal attention from the moment to arrive until you leave. Feels like luxury the whole time you are there.
For such an expensive hotel, the included breakfast could have been better. We also had a few minor issues with the bathroom - the bathtub didn't really fill up and one of the sink faucets fell off. It did not disrupt our vacation much, but for such a pricy spot, our expectations were a bit higher.

Wonderful staff and very helpful with recommendations and making your reservations as well. The location was very convenient to the square and the rooms are large. They were helpful in moving to another room to accommodate my mother's needs! Would recommend!
loved the little touches - the speaker for music - the bathtub (OMGoddess the best) - all the mirrors - the white noise machine - the tequila and fruit complimentary welcome - the great bed with all those pillows
issues with telephones and concierge - outdoor music playing until 10 pm - crazy table with legs that trip you up if you are not mindful
