Pros:

The hotel is located in a good area, despite the road construction currently taking place nearby. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

However, in our opinion, the hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The rooms are very small, the pillows were not comfortable, and the window in our room could not be opened. We really enjoy sleeping with fresh air, so this was disappointing. On the positive side, everything was very clean.

Another downside was that there wasn’t a single TV channel broadcasting the FIFA World Cup, which was surprising for a hotel of this category.

Breakfast was quite chaotic. There was only one staff member taking egg orders, while the rest of the team seemed disorganized. The breakfast selection was rather limited, although the basic items were available. We believe the experience would be much better if the hotel offered an à la carte breakfast menu instead, as it would make the service more efficient and organized.

Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its location and cleanliness, but we expected more considering the price.

Prachtig, rustig hotel bij de stadskern
Pros:

Bij aankomst werd de bagage voor ons naar binnen gebracht en er werd gezorgd voor de auto. Echt een luxe.
De kamer is groot, modern en comfortabel
Het ontbijt is verzorgd, uitgebreid met ruime keuze. Zeer vlotte bediening.
Het diner op het dakterras bij zonsondergang is echt een aanrader. De gerechten zijn top.
Het hotel laar je indien gewenst naar een Beach Club brengen. Tegen betaling, maar het is het zeker waard.
In de wellness is het leuk vertoeven en de massage is zeer goed e relaxerend.
Vanaf het hotel kan je het historische stadscentrum gemakkelijk te voet verkennen.

Cons:

Op het dak is een klein zwembad voorzien, met beperkt aantal plaatsen errond. Dus daar heb je veel kans dat je er niet meer bij kan.

Pros:

Les chambres sont spacieuses, les salles de bain bien agencées. Le petit déjeuner était très très bon et varié.

Cons:

Premier soir, nous sommes placés à part des autres personnes pour le dîner. Dans une salle à part, seuls alors que le restaurant n’était pas plein. C’était très cher et peu copieux, pas incroyable. Le rooftop est sympa mais cher aussi. La piscine est petite.
Le ménage est lent à être fait même quand on appuie sur le bouton exprès. J’ai du raler les 2 jours pour que ce soit fait avant 15h00.
Leur plage privée située à 20 minutes en taxi coûte chère aussi et ils ont essayé de nous faire payer deux fois les 50€ de transat… sachant que nous y sommes restés 2h00.
Aucune personne ne parle français, heureusement que je parle anglais couramment.
Il y a des escaliers pour rentrer dans l’hôtel donc compliqué avec une poussette, des valises et une personne âgée, personne n’est devant pour vous aider. Vraiment très déçue.

Op basis van onze ervaring voldeed dit hotel niet aan de verwachtingen die wij van een vijfsterrenhotel hadden.
Pros:

Het ontbijt in het restaurant was uitstekend. De kwaliteit van het aanbod was zeer goed en de dames van de bediening waren bijzonder vriendelijk en attent. Zij vormden zonder twijfel een meerwaarde voor het hotel.

Cons:

Bij aankomst werden we meteen vriendelijk geholpen door een piccolo, wat een positieve eerste indruk gaf. Het onthaal aan de receptie viel echter tegen. De jonge dame die ons incheckte kwam weinig hartelijk over en we voelden ons niet echt welkom.

Eenmaal op de kamer merkten we al snel dat de hygiëne niet voldeed aan de verwachtingen die je van een vijfsterrenhotel mag hebben. Onder het bed lagen dikke stofvlokken, er zaten tandpastaspatten op de spiegel en naast het bidet bevond zich een bruine vlek op de muur ter hoogte van het zeepbakje. Dit zijn zaken die in deze hotelcategorie niet zouden mogen voorkomen.

’s Avonds gingen we eten op het dakterras, waarvoor we vooraf hadden gereserveerd. Een medewerkster die duidelijk een leidinggevende rol leek te hebben binnen de bediening, sprak ons op een manier aan die wij niet als professioneel ervaarden. Tijdens de service viel het bovendien op dat ze niet iedere gast even vriendelijk behandelde. Gelukkig was de rest van het restaurantpersoneel wel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook op de tweede dag liet de netheid van de kamer te wensen over. Na de schoonmaakbeurt lagen er nog steeds haren in de douche en één van de handdoeken was achteloos in de douche achtergelaten. Dit gaf niet de indruk dat de kamer grondig was schoongemaakt, wat we in een vijfsterrenhotel wel verwachten.

מלון חדש, הכל נקי ויפה, לקחנו חדר שפונה אל המרינה (קצת יותר גדול מהסטנדרטי), מיקום מצוין במרחק הליכה מכל מקום, צוות ידידותי ונחמד, עלות מול תועלת גבוהה מאד, בחירה מצוינת לשהייה וליציאה לטיולי כוכב עם רכב

Cons:

הבריכה על הגג קטנה מאד, היו חמישה כסאות נוח שנתפסו כבר בבוקר על ידי אורחים שהשאירו מגבות והלכו, המלון צריך לקחת זאת בחשבון אבל בגדול אין מה לבנות על הבריכה החיצונית.
לגבי השכרת רכב רצוי שתסגרו ישירות מול hertz שהיו טובים ואטרקטיביים במחיר ובשירות, הספק שהמלון עובד איתו חובבן ולא סיפק רכב אוטומטי אלא ידני, בקיצור ההמלצה של הקבלה לא היתה טובה

A very stylish and luxurious experience in Cagliari
Pros:

The Palazzo Tirso Cagliari is superbly located - very close to the main train station, on good bus routes to Poetto Beach and with beautiful views over the marina and the city. The Hotel is stylishly decorated and our room was absolutely superb! It was air-conditioned, very comfortable bed, spacious with all the amenities I would want (mini bar, hair dryer, toiletries, safe, good mirror options, etc. The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar that has a decent restaurant, bar section (for both pool side drinks and sundowners), a beautiful infinity splash pool and fantastic views over the city.
The staff were incredible - really polite, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing could be too much trouble. You really felt well looked after - I would certainly go back.

Cons:

Not very much - although the gym is fairly small and has limited equipment (I am a frequent gym goer and it was a bit disappointing) however it was clean and had a 'luxury' feel to it. The room had limited task lighting for makeup. It probably is on the expensive side in Sardinia - but it is a 5-star hotel and feels that way!
