Booked three rooms for a family stay during the Samarkand marathon. The hotel is new, staff needs more training and service is below average.

AC not working in rooms during summer!
Pros:

This is a new and well designed hotel. The problem they have is that their central AC is just not strong enough for summer. The temperature in the rooms with the AC on was a sweltering 28C. The hotel staff tried their best - the engineer came multiple times and did his best but the AC blast was just not strong enough. Maria at reception did her absolute best and even gave us another room but it had the same issue.
