Charming and very comfortable place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff - my wife is coeliac and they ensured there were options for her at breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good quality.

Strawberries and biscuits in the room on arrival were a nice touch.

Parking was arranged with the hotel before arrival and worked well in the covered car park which was only around 5 Minute walk.

The hotel is in the centre of Sarlat and the square is literally just around the corner.

Overall a fantastic stay and we will not hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music

This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! She even helped me with a laundry issue :) Natalie who checked us out was so helpful. She told us about a Chateau only 20 minutes away that we had almost missed! We were so grateful for her guidance. She even brought our bags down to the car! A couple of clarifications: there is no elevator so pack wisely! We brought a small bag so that we wouldn’t have too much trouble up the stairs. Also, the parking garage is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel but you need to call and ask where’s the best place to drop your bags before parking. The hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian street so no cars are allowed but it’s only a 5 minute walk to the enclosed and very safe parking garage. This was not a big issue for us. The hotel has such comfortable rooms and linens! We had a very comfortable stay and lots of options for restaurants, coffee and dessert very near by. Can’t wait to go back!

Didn’t like too many stairs - no elevayor, the room had a tall stairwell inside. The breakfast very average - doesn’t seem, like a 4 star property

Nous avons été séduits par cet hôtel à tous les niveaux : beauté du bâtiment, chaleur de l'accueil, charme de la chambre, richesse des équipements (piscine chauffée, garage,...). Un seul regret : n'y avoir passé qu'une nuit.

A former 15th century residence, Le Petit Manoir is long on charm but if you're not good with stairs, be sure to book a ground-level room. Our room, The Colette, was reachable only by a spiral staircase that is not for the faint-hearted. The ceiling beams were charming but head-bumping hazards if you're tall. We were traveling without a car and the staff was helpful in booking us taxis (a car would have been handy but we're getting too old to drive in France). Breakfast had lots a variety and great baked goods. The location can't be beat, and I'd imagine in the summer it would be quiet oasis mere footsteps from where the action is. We would recommend this hotel to friends who like historic properties.

Excellent séjour de 4 nuits au Petit Manoir.
Hôtel au luxe parfait : 9 chambres, personnel sympathique et aux petits soins. Grand merci à Cécile, Valerie et David de la réception qui ont été très prévenants.
L’hôtel est au cœur de Sarlat, donc très bien situé. Belle piscine dont nous n’avons pas profité en raison de la météo d’octobre, mais qui doit être très agréable en été.
À noter que l’établissement a un très bel escalier, sans doute inapproprié à des personnes à mobilité réduite.
Enfin, et c’est important, notre literie était parfaite : matelas, oreillers et couette, tout était d’un grand confort.
En conclusion, le luxe sans ostentation.

We enjoyed this hotel, the town of Sarlat, the historic visits to see cave art and the Beynac fortress as well as wine tasting!

Beautiful property close to all attractions but insulated from the noise and hubbub of the nearby areas. Very nice front desk interactions.
