I would recommend the Mercure Pakenham to family and friends to stay at.
Pros:

I thought the menu for the night meal was a little curious, and did not meet my expectations. Also, it was a little dearer than I expected.

Cons:

There was not a lot I didn't like. All the staff were excellent, all greeted you with a hello and a smile.

It was very comfortable and beautiful rooms. Very clean and large bathroom. Beautiful restaurant, the buffet breakfast was very well done and the staff were very attentive

Cons:

I think the barista needs more training. My husbands coffee was very weak even though we asked for an extra shot and I asked for a mocha but she forgot the coffee shot. Considering we had to pay for the coffees, we were a little disappointed.
