Für 5 Sterne leider zu schwach – schöne Anlage, aber Frühstück und Betten enttäuschend
Pros:

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich schön gelegen, ruhig und sauber. Die Außenanlage sowie der Poolbereich machten einen gepflegten Eindruck. Wer Ruhe sucht, findet hier grundsätzlich eine entspannte Umgebung.

Sehr positiv hervorzuheben ist die Tiefgarage. Die Stellplätze waren großzügig, gut befahrbar und auch mit größerem Fahrzeug sehr angenehm. Das ist bei vielen Hotels nicht selbstverständlich. Die Tiefgarage kostet zwar extra, war aber für uns grundsätzlich ein klarer Pluspunkt.

Auch die Massage im Spa war sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiterin im Spa-Bereich war freundlich, professionell und sprach Deutsch. Das war einer der positiven Punkte des Aufenthalts.

Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut und wurde freundlich angeboten.

Das Personal war uns gegenüber grundsätzlich freundlich und bemüht. Wir hatten nicht den Eindruck, dass die Mitarbeiter unfreundlich waren. Man merkte jedoch teilweise, dass das Team eher knapp besetzt war und wenige Mitarbeiter viele Aufgaben gleichzeitig abdecken mussten.

Cons:

Unser Aufenthalt war insgesamt nicht schlecht, aber für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel hatten wir deutlich mehr erwartet.

Das Zimmer war eher klein und hatte praktisch keinen schönen Ausblick. Direkt vor dem Fenster befand sich in sehr geringem Abstand eine Hecke, sodass kaum Weitblick oder ein angenehmes Raumgefühl entstand. Das Zimmer war sauber, wirkte aber insgesamt nicht wie ein besonderes 5-Sterne-Zimmer.

Der größte Kritikpunkt im Zimmer waren für uns die Betten bzw. Matratzen. Diese waren deutlich durchgelegen, sodass man spürbar eingesunken ist. Der Schlafkomfort entsprach aus unserer Sicht nicht dem Anspruch eines Hauses dieser Kategorie. Mit besseren Betten würden wir das Hotel eventuell für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp von ein bis zwei Nächten wieder in Betracht ziehen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt eher nicht.

Das Frühstück war für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel aus unserer Sicht völlig unzureichend. Die Auswahl war extrem begrenzt und entsprach nicht annähernd dem, was wir in dieser Hotelkategorie erwarten würden. Bei der Obstauswahl gab es im Wesentlichen halbierte Kiwi und Ananas. Die Ananas wirkte für uns nicht frisch, sondern schmeckte stark gezuckert und eher wie Dosenananas. Mehr nennenswerte frische Obstauswahl gab es aus unserer Sicht nicht.

Auch sonst war die Auswahl sehr schwach: nur wenige Sorten Aufschnitt, kaum Käseauswahl, keine besondere Saftauswahl, keine Smoothies, keine Waffeln oder vergleichbare frische Frühstücksangebote. Teilweise wirkten Produkte bereits länger vorbereitet; beim vorgeschnittenen Käse waren an einem Tag deutlich angetrocknete Ränder zu sehen.

Auch die warmen Speisen überzeugten uns nicht: Der Bacon wirkte lange warmgehalten, und das Rührei machte keinen frisch zubereiteten Eindruck. Frische Eier oder Omelett wurden uns erst am dritten Tag aktiv angeboten, als wir bereits gefrühstückt hatten. Positiv war lediglich der Kaffee, der wirklich sehr gut war und freundlich angeboten wurde.
