Voor herhaling vatbaar!
Pros:

Buiten het feit dat het een prachtig hotel is, goed gestyled, gezellige bar, mooie kamer en schoon, prima parkeergelegenheid, vriendelijk personeel en een proper engels ontbijt, ligt het ook heel goed ten opzichte van de boot. En voor ons belangrijk; dogfriendly! Had graag wat eerder gearriveerd om ook het diner te proberen, schijnt erg goed te zijn.. kortom, voor herhaling vatbaar!

Cons:

Niets ten nadele van het hotel, maar er is, tot laat, behoorlijk veel overlast van de omgeving, (volgens mij) jongeren met auto's, hard rijden en veel gas geven?

A nice stay
Pros:

Clean and comfortable room. Nicely decorated.
Staff were all brilliant.
Food was nice, if a little on the expensive side

Cons:

Bed was a bit too soft for us and the room was very warm. Shower attachment was loose, which was a bit annoying.

A beautifully designed hotel in a fantastic location, offering spacious and comfortable rooms.
Pros:

A beautiful hotel, with carefully thought out layout and decor. A fantastic location, with plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly, the rooms extremely spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. The guest lounge in the annexe was a fantastic bonus, and we made good use of it.

Harwich stay
Pros:

The standard room was very comfortable. It was clean and provided everything you needed. We loved the ensuite, very modern and looked brand new.

Cons:

The room was quite warm. But the fans helped.

Perfectly adequate but not the Pier of old though we recognise the need to be competitive paying a bit more for a more p
Pros:

It was enjoyable but lacks something we have used the Pier since the early sixties and it’ not as we prefer to timber it.

Cons:

A bit clinical in a modernised /industrialised way not as homely in public rooms. No sky TV available.

Wel een mooie kamer met prima badkamer, alhoewel erg warm. (Begin september)

Ik vond de prijs erg hoog, maar ja het is ongeveer het enige hotel in Harwich.
Het bed was vreselijk, veel te zacht en heb daarom geen oog dicht gedaan.
Wij hadden de avond te voren hun ontbijtlijst ingevuld, maar we vragen ons af of die überhaupt wel gelezen was.
Ik kreeg een vol Engels ontbijt, terwijl ik alleen maar gebakken eieren met bacon en witte bonen in tomatensaus had aangegeven? Meer dan de helft kon zo weer weg gegooid worden.
Bovendien is op zijn vroegst 07.00 ontbijten veel te krap op de uiterste inchecktijd van 08.15 voor de veerboot. daardoor zit je eigenlijk op hete kolen. Misschien daarom ontbijten vanaf 06.30 mogelijk maken.
Anders zou ik adviseren om zeker niet in het hotel te ontbijten, maar gewoon aan boord waar ook prima mogelijkheden hiertoe zijn.

Goed hotel voordat je op de ferry gaat
Pros:

Fijne plek om een nacht door te brengen voordat je op de ferry gaat. Het is schoon, personeel is vriendelijk. Restaurant is goed.

Cons:

Er valt niet veel te doen in de omgeving.
