Terra Boutique Hotel

We’ve booked 3 rooms, they canseld one on there own.

Nice historical hotel but de cleaning is very bad.

I booked a 2 night stay and was disappointed as TERRA hotel was closed. This was the first time we were visiting Curaçao. We arrived to TERRA from the airport around 4:30pm and no one was there to greet us. The front door to the hotel was locked. My wife and I waited in the front porch for an hour and literally no one answered to us knocking on the doors. We even spoke to other people in the nearby hotels and they said they had not seen anyone coming in or out of this hotel. TERRA didn’t have a sign or a bell and on their website didn’t even have a phone number. We sent them an email and they never responded. Thankfully we found an amazing hotel just down the block called Bij Blawu. We contacted Trip advisor and they are doing their best to get us a refund.

Outstanding location and small private beach. The free beach towels and free cooled water are highly appreciated as well. Maintenance of the building is long due and several things are not up to standard: windows not closing properly, blindings not working properly, safe in the room not working, lock of door towards beach broken, no hot water (not really needed because of the heat).

It is a no desk hotel. If you don’t have phone coverage you can be waiting for a while. Be sure to contact the property before you arrive. or Hotels.com does not give us that information and the phone that is in the web was not the correct one. Our room was very tiny, not room for the luggage and the noise of the second floor was important. However very good location. If you want to have party it is a perfect spot

Staff was very kind and helpful. Quiet and safe area walking distance to “downtown”.
- Windows are small, little natural light in rooms. Some walls need to be repainted.

Hotel property was great. The views on the balcony and private beach was a nice site. Fanny was awesome in the mornings and provided free breakfast. Didn't want to leave !

The experience at Terra has not been good overall. The double room is too small: we were two people with two small suitcases and, even so, it was difficult to move around. In this small room the BATHROOM DOES NOT HAVE A DOOR.
The hotel does not have a reception or staff on site 24 hours a day.
It is well located and cleanliness is correct.
I recognize the good disposition of the staff who agreed to charge us only a portion of my reservation when we requested to leave the hotel early.

Very much enjoyed my stay at Terra!

Don’t stay in the upstairs unit, the sewage from the tub and toilet comes into the shower.

If you’re looking for a centrally located Willemstad property with cold AC and a hostel/B B feel, this is it! Staff was accommodating and polite. Property maintenance was a bit loose (ex: cocktail napkin sat in the hallway for three days, old, failing chairs near beach area, burned out lights in room and outdoor seating area, dying plants in planters, etc) and upgrades felt a bit rushed (ex: faucets loose on tub and bathroom fixtures) with a DIY feel to their fit-and-finish. Stayed in a unit on the top floor - stairs were extremely steep (would not be appropriate for anyone with mobility limitations) and unfortunately had a faint-to-moderate sewage smell lingering for the duration of our stay (possibly plumbing related). If you rent a car, be aware that weekend parking can be very challenging. Overall, the homemade breakfast was appreciated, and location was convenient.

Kann die ganzen guten Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen.
Die Unterkunft ist dunkel und teilweise ist es in den Räumen sehr feucht. Wir hatten nicht mal ein Fenster und das Zimmer war winzig. Das Bad hatte keine Tür.
Auch die tollen Liegen, die hier auf den Fotos zu sehen sind, liegen neben dem Hotelgelände vergammelt herum. Alles ziemlich vernachlässigt. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider gar nicht.
Das einzig tolle war das liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück jeden Morgen. Es gab jeden Tag etwas anderes und wir konnten es mit Blick auf das Meer auf der Terasse des Hotels einnehmen. Vielen Dank an das liebe Zimmermädchen!!
Ansonsten kann ich das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Schimmel konnte man an vielen Stellen auch finden, aufgrund der Feuchtigkeit des Gebäudes.

The Terra Boutique Hotel was an amazing stay. I arrived later on a Tuesday night. I had been in contact with Tirsa at the hotel and she arranged for someone to meet me at the hotel after check-in.

He gave me a brief summary of the historical value of the hotel and explained their amenities.

Every morning, they had an amazing breakfast. It was a fresh breakfast (pancakes, sandwiches, bagels, etc.). They also included juice and fresh fruit. They also have a great balcony that overlooks the ocean. It was a great place to eat.

The hotel includes what most hotels include (AC, WiFi, etc.). I didn't really feel they were missing anything.

Absolutely amazing!! Excellent location in the heart of Willamstad . This location is PERFECT for a luxurious yet intimate feel. The boutique style hotel is ideal for a couple's vacation. The staff was amazing and more than accommodating. Will definitely book again!

Loved our stay with Terra! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, especially Tiersa. Hotel is small but cozy, Luna room was just the right size. Amazing breakfast every morning and the view from their balcony is great. You can snorkel off the beach but just be careful since it’s the open water. Tiersa was so great in helping us out whenever we needed her, including calling a doctor, taxi and gave great recommendations for what to do in the area.

This is a fabulous place to stay! Room and hotel are clean, quiet, and relaxing. Staff (especially Tirsa) are friendly, knowledgeable, and gave such helpful tips on things to do/see/eat. Breakfasts each morning were prepared hot for each guest and it is so fabulous to sit on the back deck ocean side to eat. Hotel is a safe, quick walk to the downtown waterfront area, and there are lots of restaurants very close to the hotel. If you’re a light sleeper recommend an upstairs room. The Fire room is magnificent with an ocean view and ocean view patio table. Recommend getting a rental car so you can easily explore the island (Curacao was the easiest driving I’ve had in any Caribbean island so far. Download Google Maps, disregard the street names as their mostly unmarked, just follow the right/left directions). US dollars are widely taken, I did not exchange $ while there, menus are posted in both local currency and US dollars. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay!

Terra Boutique is a lovely little hotel, very well located in Pietermaai with great restaurants and shops nearby. This boutique hotel is very cozy and relaxing. The property gives access to a very small but entirely private beach right in the backward! Loungers are well disposed to enjoy the sun. Stairs with 6 steps down the beach and you’re in the ocean, and a great snorkeling spot! I suggest having the delicious little breakfast they provide on the backyard balcony, it’s about the best way to start your day. And finally, the staff is amazing! They make sure that you feel welcomed at Terra! They provide all the information you need and make sure you have a superb stay!

Great experience, the host is very attentive and helpful. the breakfast is very good and the small private beach is fantastic for snorkeling. a very cozy and nice hotel boutique.
