2 nights at Cecil Murree
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. I would suggest the hotel to have better insulation as cold air kept creeping through whilst it was already cold. The bed sheet were slightly stained which was disappointing. The main building of the hotel was pretty and the breakfast was just okay nothing spectacular. There was free parking available for those driving. The hotel is a 15/20 mins drive to Mall Road. The staff at the hotel were kind and professional.

Pros:

This is a unique, interesting property with amazing views of the mountains. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The shower did not work well and the food was average,, but otherwise we had a great stay. I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Murree.

Pros:

It was excellent stay. We enjoyed and found it amazing to stay at a hotel building which was 173 year old. Staff was nice and environment was great.

Pros:

The checkin was pretty smooth. I was greeted by the staff before I parked my car and everyone was very welcoming.
The room was pretty average. The worst thing about the room was the iron window frames that did no good in keeping the cold frosty air out. Even with the windows shut tight there were gaps that kept the room extremely cold. The electric heater in the room was on for the whole night but I kept struggling to be comfortable. There were no bins in the room when I arrived, no slipper, no chair, and TV remote was missing. All of which was later provided upon request.
The room was mostly clean but there were tea stains on some tables that could’ve easily been wiped clean. There were some stains on the quilt cover too but it looked like they were permanent stains because the sheets were clean overall. The exhaust fan in the toilet did not work.
Good things about the room were its size. There was a separate lounge with 2 sofa beds and 2 coffee tables. Another good thing was the split washrooms where the toilet was with the lounge while the shower was with the room. It lets more than one people get ready at the same time.
Despite the mentioned shortcomings, I am overall happy with my trip and will definitely visit again but book a better room category.
