Breakfast with a big choice of bread, juices, croissants and freshly made Omelette.
The choice of Salami at the breakfast could be wider. Personally I also don´t understand how the check in system at the reception can´t remember that you have been already a guest: The receptionist always asks me if this is the first time I´m visiting. For me this is not a problem but I think for such a hotel, this could be more personell.
My experience with the parking and deposit handling was disappointing. At check-in, the hotel took a deposit and provided a receipt for it. They also gave me a QR code to use the garage and told me to select the “hotel guest” option when entering, but they never informed me that parking costs €20.
At checkout, a staff member tried to deduct €20 from my deposit for using the garage, claiming that I had been informed about the fee. After I explained that nobody had mentioned any parking cost, the staff even acknowledged that it might not have been communicated clearly, but still insisted that I should pay it. This made the situation very uncomfortable.
In the end, I refused to pay because I was never informed about the fee in advance. Charging extra for services is fine, but guests must be clearly informed beforehand.
Another issue is that when the deposit is taken, the hotel should provide clear written confirmation at checkout about how much of the deposit is being returned and whether any deductions were made. In my case, this was only communicated verbally, which is not a good practice and does not provide transparency for guests.
