Wonderful stay, room always clean, attentive staff. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 7 days and it truly became our home away from home. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel for several days throughout our stay. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. They provided us with dining recommendations as well as helped us learn about the different sections of the island. Most times when I stay at a hotel, I don't interact with the hotel staff beyond check in and check out, but we got to know the staff and enjoyed talking with them and learning about the island. While there I celebrated my birthday and the staff decorated our room for the occasion. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for fantastic customer service!

This was our third visit to the Atelier Skalo Boutique Hotel, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. We had to change our reservation, and the hotel staff was understanding and efficient in helping us with that. Then we got two lovely surprises when we checked in; a personal and heartfelt note thanking us for the return business, and a free upgrade to a beautiful suite that happened to be available. LOVE this hotel and we will always stay there when traveling to or through Curacao.

Quiet and historic

The staff was accommodating and I loved my room!

This was our second stay, and it was another very pleasant experience. We are very likely to choose this hotel again whenever we might be staying in Willemstad.

Well situated... Amazing, accommodation, friendly staff, and very secure. Right through everything so you can reach easily by foot

Very nice place to stay really nice. I really enjoy my time there and I’ll be back again. The only thing I do not like is that check-in is at three in the afternoon so if you have a early flight, it’s bad but you can always go have lunch and then come back. Or change and go in the pool staff is very nice and professional it’s a I give everything a 9/10

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Easy walking to everything in Punda and Otrabanda. the pool is not large, but it is clean and was never crowded. We parked our rental car every evening on the narrow street on the harbour side, without too much difficulty. Keep in mind that many local (who work in the city) take advantage of the free parking because it is an easy walk into town. That makes parking between 8am and 5pm tricky.

Comfortable bed, bathroom smelled moldy/mildewy due to lack of ventilation. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice outdoor spaces for relaxation. Pool was sunny and nice to cool off in.

Walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, supermarket and punda beach. distanced well enough from everything to keep a chill quiet place to hang hat. Glad I picked Atelier. Oh and the breakfast was nice and staff were both classy and pretty.

In a quiet place but within minutes of the main area.. good sized rooms and a lovely pool for an afternoon dip in the heat.

The hotel inside is beautiful.
Nice terraza to sit and work on laptop etc. But just have you repellent with you to spray your legs for mosquitos. You might get one or two…
The room was clean, the bed was good. The bathroom also cleaned. Loved the shower. You can adjust the temp up to 38.5°C! There’s air-conditioning, mini fridge, coffee-maker.
The room door isn’t a modern doors so it opens/closes with an insert key just like a reg door. No electrical/swipe cards doors.
Windows are closed pretty okay but due these types of windows (wooden shutter) you hear everything that’s happening outside.
Staff were really really nice. Their breakfast was also good.
They have a refrigerator in the lobby that you can buy water or other type of drink.
The swimming pool is in front, looks nice at night with blue lights.
There’s a security guard ‘till 12am.
They communicate through whatsapp as well.

I’ve spoken to staff and the whole hotel is under renovation. Buildings surroundings are part of the hotel and projects are going on, but at the moment the area isn’t that safe after 12am to walk. You have to be careful. Unfortunately there’s still a street closeby the hotel that isn’t safe to walk through at night at all. But as been told by staff, these will soon change due renovation and in the area properties were sold to make this all more beautiful and safe.
Security won’t be after 12am till morning so your car will be a 50/50 safe outside. Just don’t let things in the car.

Boa localização, fácil ir andando para os restaurantes e lojas do centro de Punda e Pietermaai.
Atendimento ótimo da recepção, tive um imprevisto com o carro e a recepcionista fez todas as ligações para chamar o seguro.
Quarto limpo com troca diária de toalhas e excelente ar condicionado e frigobar.
Recomendo muito, excelente custo benefício.
