we enjoyed our stay at the George. The staff were friendly and the beer and food were good. The location is good for looking round the shops and local area. Hope to stay again in the future.

Perfect location (with car parking), lovely historic inn, great food and very helpful, friendly staff. Fabulous long views from the dining room. Nice touches in the room itself, from shortbread to sloe gin to a super shower ( we enjoyed a premium room).
Very little to report under this heading. Struggled with the shower gel dispenser, and the bathroom door wouldn’t quite shut properly. Would suggest two bins, one for rubbish and one for recyclables such as paper and plastics. The excellent fan which was provided was very necessary on two warm nights. But really this was a quality stay.

Good service at dinner and reception on arrival.
Room was clean and well equipped but small and dated.
Bar areas were dirty, tables with remains of food left uncleared. Yes it was 4 p.m on Sunday and pub was still quite busy.
Dinner was v disappointing. 2 acceptable main meals and 2 roasts which were not at all palatable.
Breakfast poorly set out. No tongs for fruit or bread, tiny plates, surly staff.
We originally booked five rooms at The Kings Arms Westerham in November last year for my son’s wedding in June this year. In February, we were informed that the hotel would be closing for refurbishment during our stay. Although this was a very stressful situation, the Bel & Dragon stepped in and accommodated our entire party.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. A complimentary room upgrades was offered, this was a very generous gesture, and greatly appreciated. The rooms were beautifully presented, spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.
After the unexpected change to our original booking, this thoughtful touch immediately put us at ease and showed the genuine care and attention the Bel & Dragon has for its guests.
Every member of staff was exceptional. They were warm, friendly, professional and always happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble, and they genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible during such an important family occasion.
We had dinner at the hotel on the Friday evening, and it was absolutely superb. The food was beautifully prepared, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for our family to relax together before the wedding.
Breakfast each morning was equally impressive, with an excellent choice of freshly cooked food and something to suit everyone. It was the perfect start to each day and was served with the same friendly, attentive service we experienced throughout our stay.
With my son’s wedding taking place yesterday, knowing that our family were being looked after so well meant the world to us. The Bel & Dragon played a huge part in making the whole weekend such a special and memorable occasion.

Honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. From the warm welcome and complimentary room upgrades to the exceptional staff, delicious food, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect experience from start to finish.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was good. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the water power was good (often not the case in older properties!). The gin and whisky lounge was a great touch!
For two people who travelled from abroad with two suitcases and two pieces of hand luggage and who then had to get ready to attend a wedding, the room we were allocated was small and that made things difficult. We know that some of our friends had bigger rooms than us.
Not the property's fault, but we attended at the tail end of a heatwave and, as there was no air-conditioning in the room, the room was very hot, with only a (largely ineffective) tabletop fan to try to cool the room

Just felt a little disappointed with no access to the terrace. And a bit limited menu.
The one issue which should be addressed was the mattress- it has seen better days, needs an upgrade.
