Die Lage des Hotels war super, innerhalb 15 Minuten zu Fuss waren der Topkapi Palast, die Haggia Sofia und die blaue Moschee, die Zisterne, der Gewürz Bazar, der grosse Bazar und die Anlegestelle der Schiffe erreichbar. Ein grosser Dank an die Leitung des Hotels und und an das Personal für ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Das Hotel war sehr gepflegt. Das Hotelrestaurant hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht über die Stadt und den Bosporus. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vielfältig und ausgezeichnet.
Auch das Wellnessbereich war sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Restaurants, Geschäfte und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel waren auch ganz nah.
Unbedingt empfehlenswert !

Pros:

This is definitely not a five star hotel. More 3 stars by typical standards. Our room had zero windows, never thought this was a thing I had to look for. Our shower leaked from under the glass pane. Small blankets and uncomfortable beds.

Only good thing was the breakfast and rooftop view.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Ten - fifteen minute walk to many of the major tourists sites in Istanbul. Beautiful rooftop dining area. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant staff provided excellent service. I would definitely stay there the next time I visit Istanbul.

Hotel on The Cobblestone Street- Demiray
Pros:

Great hotel and location perfect if you want to be in the Sultanahmet/old city area. Walking distance to all the major sites. Staff was professional, extremely friendly and the service was top notch. Great rooftop view of the Bosphorus Stait. I highly recommend Demiray Hotel.

Ottimo per l’ubicazione ha però alcune pecche. La colazione non è una colazione da hotel a 5 stelle. La piscina ha solo tre sedie. Doveva esserci una SPA ma non ci è stata mostrata la sauna (ma sui trattamenti a pagamento viene contemplata). La cosa peggiore è la pulizia che lascia davvero a desiderare. Il personale è comunque gentile.

We stayed at Demiray Hotel for 4 nights with family and really enjoyed it. The breakfast had great variety and the restaurant view was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and polite throughout our stay.

We used the spa for a massage and sauna, which was relaxing, and also visited the swimming pool a couple of times. The location is ideal for Sultanahmet and Eminönü, though after the Grand Bazaar closes it’s a slightly longer walk back. Overall, a great and comfortable stay! Would definitely recommend😊 and would be nice to go back if we have a chance 😊
