A most enjoyable stay in a beautiful inn with rooms
Pros:

A beautiful inn with rooms that exceeded our expectations. Comfortable and spotless throughout. Excellent selection of delicious food and wine. Very quiet at night so we slept really well. The staff were brilliant - friendly, attentive and professional. Plenty of parking spaces and electric charging points.

Cons:

The shower was over the bath and it was quite a step up/down to get in and out. It really needs a grab rail for safety. The mirror over the basin was too far back to use for shaving or makeup so a shaving mirror would have been most welcome.

Pros:

Great location. Stayed in number 8 ( Bakery) for 2 nights. Property was excellent. Had everything we needed. Bathroom was stunning with huge shower and roll top bath. Bed was so comfy, had amazing nights sleep. Robes, luxury toiletries and plenty of soft towels were provided. Lounge area had a lovely sofa, tv and coffee machine. Excellent choice of hot drinks and teats awaited us on both days.
Ate in the restaurant on both nights. Food was excellent, we also had breakfast twice . Quality produce and all the staff were friendly. Highly recommended, didn't want to leave.

Accomodation and ambiance in the the bar excellent. Food could do a lot better.
Pros:

Accomodation was excellent staff very friendly, pub warm and welcoming.

Cons:

Food was below average, group of 4 perhaps the prawn cocktail and pasta dish was the best. Breafast, smoked salmon good, full breakfast been left standing and overcooked.
