Bed uncomfortable draft in room and heating not work proper

I paid for this hotel only to find it was shut down when i got there. No phone call or email informing me beforehand so had to pay for other accommodation when i got there as i was working

Was no towels for when we had a shower. Luckily I took one also guest was very loud banging doors all night hardly slept also people was in the street all night and early hours screaming shouting throwing glass bottles around smack heads all over the street and out side
The place when I was checking in just rough and single bed stunk of piss and drains smelt bad in the bathroom. Needs a good clean and a good make over… i no the saying is u get what u pay for but iv not had a issue anywhere else and it’s normally a laugh but this one was a no no no never agin would not return’

The property was disgusting, dirty bedding, mould in the shower, the painting hadn’t even been finished. The WiFi and signal were non existent. The area was dossy as anything

Noisy neighbours

Mould in corners of room, cobwebs everywhere and looks dirty soon as you enter, wallpaper missing on walls, couldn’t open the only window in room for fresh air

This is a classic example of, you get what you pay for!

For the price, no complaint.

The room we stayed in was a good size the bed was comfy but only had 2 pillows. The shower was okay but broken so need to hold the shower head. The very big disappointment was there was mould ans mushrooms growing on the ceiling in the bedroom. We did mention this to someone nd got told would change rooms next day but never seen anyone to change thos so we eneded are trip early do to the standards of rhe room.

Comfortable bed and heating was on .

No frills hotel does what it says on the tin so to speak.

Not good shower did not work no hot water no heating really mouldy smell inside bathroom and cupboards did not feel safe door would not shut proper and came home with covid not please refund back

Absolutley disgusting hotel. Filthy, nasty smell as soon as you walk in. OUR SHOWER WAS TAPED TO THE WALL!!! couldnt use it. The handle on the door to our room was falling off. Ariel wouldnt work so we couldnt even watch tv. Dont know how they can pass an inspection to be honest

Arrived early to enquire about parking. Was at reception desk for 20mins pressing the bell could hear staff talking but they refused to come to desk. Once arrived was told that all the parking was for staff only. I only booked this hotel as it advertised parking due to disability. Had to pay for parking at the top of the hill.
The room was full of damp. The bedding was damp and the room smelt of garlic and curry. The same odour as the reception area.
The ceiling was bubbling and plaster was falling off.
The bathroom was filthy and fully of mould.
Trying to exit the room the following morning. We was unable to operate the Yale lock and had to phone the hotel to get a member of staff to let us out. The staff member then accused us of breaking the lock and was was arrogant and abrupt with us.
Needless to say we checked out immediately due to safety concerns

Hotel was alright until last night and people were kicking off, 5/6 police cars outside and armed police in the hotel but couldn’t get hold of the owner of the hotel so clearly don’t feel safe there. What’s the point in them having a door bell and contact number when they don’t answer travelling with a 6 year old this wasn’t very comforting especially being a women as well. Did not feel very safe at all. To make things worse I left my Apple Watch there and it’s currently being used luckily I’ve put it in lost mode so they can’t physically use it but the location keeps coming on and off so they keep turning it on and off. Once again tried contacting them but getting no answer. ABSOLUTE ROBBERY!!!!!

This is a budget hotel so for the price I paid it was brilliant. The room was clean and secure and there were staff on site to look after your needs. The furniture is looking pretty tired now but the bed was to my liking and that is the most important thing in my book.

We was met by the owner who informed that we was going to stop at stone house hotel instead which I admit we was relieved
Stonehouse hotel was 100’s of times much better on appearance and inside was lovely spotless, we would never know what the other was like inside as we never made it inside , the fact the owner moved us speaks volumes

1st and fo most the boy on reception fab but the room was not good at all toilet leaking water everywhere both gave us towels to stem the flow and no other room available not his fault but there we go

Turned up at the hotel , and even the rats were moving out !! It’s and awful unclean hotel . We stayed two nights and I didn’t stop itching . Had a window that you couldn’t close because it was falling off its hinges , so making it the first hotel I’ve stayed at that I kept my clothes on in bed !! If I had a barge pole , I’d lend it to you all , because this is one hotel you musnt touch !! Please stay away 😡😡😡
