Very Nice Resort/Hotel as for being modern and amazing views but maintenance and cleanliness was overwhelming with horrible smell once you open door rooms, hair left in bathroom from previous guests, elevators glass dirty, and limited parking space.

Excellent place everything was perfect except two things.1- The shower’s water pressure is very bad.
2- the Fridge was too small for a 2 bedroom apartment

A real gem.

Property Was Well Kepted , Real Clean, Quiet, Host Was Awesome, Beautiful View.

Numerous rooms smell of raw sewage, mold, and extreme-smelling cleaning products. Under no circumstances should you take a chance staying there.

There are other, positive details of the place, but they are overshadowed by the fact that it was misengineered; the waste lines stink and there is not adequate ventilation. The building is attached to a side of rock and the rooms are water damaged.

The only decent beach in the area is Playa Dorada (a 30 minute cab from Cofresi), all others are soiled by litter both in and out of the water. The area in walking distance does not have many decent dining or nightlife. The property is guarded closely by men with shotguns at a checkpoint.

The only bright spot is the people. Merlin, Belize, and the kitchen staff do their utmost. Unfortunately, this is a property that is based on a bait and switch. Pretty pictures, pretty views, but when you get to your room, there is a very good chance you will be sleeping with the stench of raw sewage.

Let me experience be a lesson to you! Don’t take a chance on this place!

MARLIN and Leo and bar attendant were amazing. They took care of us. Helped us with all my requests. My plane got delayed twice, but they helped with all my concerns too. I would give more stars if I could, and definitely going back again

Awesome room

Stayed there one night. Loved the room and view. Felt very safe. It is right next to ocean world if the kids what to go to the water park. Merlin is amazing. She was super helpful, great communicator, and she helped arrange a taxi to pick us up. Very safe and pleasant.

From the very beginning of our arrival, Merlin was exceptionally attentive. Although our trip started on a rocky note due to an overbooking issue at our original destination (which led us to find this place as a quick alternative), Merlin and her staff, including Mr. Belice, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They took the time to provide all the information we needed, ensuring we were well cared for throughout our stay.

The property itself is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere, but what truly makes it special is the staff. Merlin and Belice genuinely make you feel at home with their kindness and professionalism. Their dedication truly stands out.

However, I do need to point out a few things. The beach near the property wasn’t very clean—there was a lot of seaweed and some garbage around the area. It’s worth mentioning that this beach is not part of Cofresi Hills Residence, as it falls under the town’s jurisdiction. If the local mayor happens to read this, I sincerely hope they address these issues because the beach and surrounding area have the potential to be magical with a little care and attention. Additionally, the streets around the property have several potholes that could use fixing.

As for the residence itself, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The kitchen could be better equipped with a microwave, more pots and pans, and a full-size refrigerator to allow guests to prepare or warm up their own meals.
