Lynda Hotel - Special Class

I can’t express enough how pleased we were with the amazing customer service. Ibrahim and Mustafa helped make our first trip to Istanbul easy and memorable. We stayed in the family bedroom with the 2 sets of bunk beds, the room is small but clean and was exactly what we needed at the end of the day. Thank you for making our trip so pleasant.

Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr sauber. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Personal: stets hilfsbereit, höflich und äußerst sympathisch. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt war der kostenlose Wasserservice wir konnten jederzeit frische Wasserflaschen bekommen.

Allerdings gab es auch ein paar Nachteile: Unser Zimmer lag direkt am Eingang und war für eine Familie nicht wirklich geeignet. Die Doppelbetten waren sehr klein und das Zimmer insgesamt sehr eng geschnitten. Eine Minibar bzw. ein kleiner Kühlschrank fehlte komplett, und das Kissen war leider sehr unbequem. Mit einer Körpergröße von 1,75 m passte ich kaum ins Bett – meine Füße ragten heraus.

Zudem ist die Lage etwas unpraktisch: Man muss jedes Mal einen steilen Weg (ca. 50 Meter) bergauf und bergab zurücklegen, um zum Hotel zu gelangen.

Trotz dieser Punkte war unser Aufenthalt angenehm, vor allem dank der Sauberkeit und dem tollen Servicepersonal.

Wonderful old Sultanahmet location. Close to the "big 3". Not far to tram to get to waterfront & other locations. Great terrace breakfadt in "sister" hotel next door. Front reception staff wonderfully helpful. Good private taxi setvice to airport. Room wad fantadtic with balcony & view. Felt like a haven after a lot of hectic travel.

I cannot more highly rate this hotel! I was traveling alone for the first time to Istanbul and just wanted something in this price range walkable close to the city’s main sights with food and conveniences nearby.

I immediately felt comfortable and that was before even a nights stay! The bed here was COMFORTABLE. I’m not kidding I asked to take a picture of the company that makes the mattress and pillows as it was better for my fussy back than my own bed at home!

I also appreciated the simple but “no extra fees” amenities. Tea, kettle, bottled water, and fridge in room. Nice lighting. Clean everything! I had a long day travel before arriving and felt immediately comfortable and at home.

The location is also very convenient. Just around the corner from the Sophia and Blue Mosque, but off the Main Street with its shops and restaurants and convenience stores. The perfect combo. I fell asleep early and well to evening prayers from the mosque each evening, well fed on hot food from just around the corner.

All this, for a great price!

Truly, this will be the place I stay next time I come to Istanbul. My only regret is not getting the name of the overnight staffer who helped me a few times during my stay. (I hope you get your binoculars back!)

Loved everything about this hotel, from the rooms to the staff to the price. I fear this will be much more expensive when I come back to Istanbul next year as it’s too good in terms of value for money for the room and location.

A steal in Istanbul better than any bargain you’ll find at the grand bazaar.

Don’t miss out, they will put the price up here when the realise how cheap they are.

Staff did great job maintaining cleanliness and service of room.
AC unit waste not functioning well and made it uncomfortable to sleep at night.

Our room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and spoke very good English.

The location of this hotel is fantastic right in the heart of the old city. lots of dining options and souvenir shops around the hotel.
the staff were amazing! they were so helpful and nice and shared all the tips that we needed to know about where to eat and shop to get the best price and quality.
the street was dead end so my children could play freely with street cats without worrying about passing traffic.
The room that I chose was small for my family, but I reckon I chose the smallest room.
Overall, all good!

Very clean and great location

We had a quad bunk beds room for a family of 4. Value for money. Comfortable. Friendly front of house.. Convenient location to food and tourist spots. They provide transfer services for a fee. Will stay here again. Highly recommended
