Plush, comfortable, contemporary hotel
Pros:

My second visit to Exeter and the same hotel. My absolute favourite. The decor is contemporary and plush and the bedrooms are a really decent size. Best sleep I’ve had in ages also! Can’t wait for next years return visit.

Cons:

No faults whatsoever

Pros:

Such a great location, it’s fab for a city break in Exeter. The rooms are comfortable and feel modern. The bathroom is great, and although the shower has a rainfall head it also has a separate hose - perfect for those of us with curly hair!

Cons:

Lift can be slow - there are two of them but they serve opposite floors, so you can only use one.

Great location. Hidden fees, rude staff.
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

Beware, it says upon booking to pay a deposit. It cost more than the room. It was £120 per night and was £275 a “fully refundable” deposit. I was told to contact booking.com to get this back, which I did, the request goes back to hotel which wavered it so I did not
Get my money back. Staff at hotel hung up the phone on me. Despite leaving room Prestine, with even the bed made. Please watch out!

underwhelmed
Pros:

Breakfast was ok, I don't like to get my own coffee or tea though.

Cons:

the room was already tired, scuffs on the paint and around the doors, bathroom door was blown at the bottom, there were no bathroom extras to use like a flannel, showercap. No bulb in one of the lights. TV stuck on the wall and could only be viewed from an uncomfortable chair. The door to the terrace seal was broken so very noisy

Pros:

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and good value for money, especially if you pay beforehand. The breakfast staff were efficient and friendly. Reception staff welcoming and friendly too.

Cons:

The roof bar was not staffed too well or stocked with a good choice of cider and beers, quite limited, with . Nothing on draught. However I appreciate the is the main bar in the reception area. It was lovely sat up there in the sunshine though. We did pay for a courtyard view out the window and got a wall! with cigarette butts on the floor out side the window. The shower could do with mould removal on the silicone and tiles in 609. Otherwise it was a lovely clean room with a comfy bed and pillows.

Pros:

The location was great, the staff were pleasant and the hotel was very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

My sink was blocked but don't let that put you off. The staff were unaware and very helpful once they were informed.
