Beautiful hotel, great location.
Pros:

Decor, reception staff. Bar staff.

Cons:

They were short on staff of an evening, they were lovely and tried but they needed more. My phone did not work in my room to order room service.

Great hotel, fantastic location, room small but well equipped and clean BUT Room 416 is too noisy
Cons:

My room was right next to the housekeeping storage rooms and the first morning the cleaners were in and out from 7am and talking loudly to each other. I asked Reception if I could move room due to the noise but they never came back to me and the following morning the noise started at 6.50am with doors slamming every few minutes. When I checked out I did state that the noise is not really acceptable but they were not particularly interested.

Disappointing and not worth the expense.
Pros:

Great location, lovely welcoming reception staff, nice size room with a lovely bath.

Cons:

There was only machine coffee available and very little of it. Breakfast was terrible. We were asked to sit and no one came and took our order of 15/20 minutes. We asked for a cafeteria and we were told they are available at the breakfast. They weren’t so again I asked and staff said they’d bring us this over. I had to ask again 15 minutes later as still no coffee. Breakfast was finally served 20 minutes later. It was over cooked, stewed beans and dried up sausage. One lift didn’t work for the whole time we stayed so it was tricky carting our luggage between flows to level 5. Very disappointing. No apologies or asked how anything was. Not worth the price you pay for the room and/or breakfast. A lot of money and left deflated and disappointed with the stay.

Nice hotel overall with its location being the strongest selling point.
Pros:

Location is amazing although hard to get there by taxi.

Cons:

TV Channels are poor. Some news channels should be available. Amenities could also be improved. The fact that windows do not open was not pleasant. Check in and out times could be improved a lot. Check in is too late (3pm) and check out is too early (11am).

The spa was disappointing and a bit grubby but the hotel had a warm feel with lovely decor and clean rooms with friendly
Pros:

Lovely decor and the room was very clean with a lovely comfy bed. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The jacuzzi was dirty with brown marks on the side and on the head rests and the jets weren’t fully working. The other jacuzzi was closed. The steam room had a lot of hair on the bench and unfortunately didn’t smell fresh- almost of drains. It also wasn’t clear at time of booking that the spa was not included and free for hotel guests. The were no keys for the lockers so there was no where to keep valuables safe. Frustratingly, when we checked in at 2.30pm it was completely booked all day. The lift to our floor was out of order and there was quite a long wait for bowls at breakfast so we couldn’t have our cereal/yoghurt. We were quoted different prices for breakfast from different staff .

Average hotel good location
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located, close the grounds of the Cathedral and a short walk from the Quay. Lots of restaurants in the nearby shopping centre.

Cons:

The rooms are average, and the bathroom I had was showing signs of age. It wasn’t particularly clean, and the shower mat had a dirty mark on one side.
