Really nice hotel right in the middle of the city centre. The room was comfortable and clean with very useful mini fridge. The bathroom was great and included a large rainfall shower.
The room itself was clean and tidy but underneath the bed could definitely have done with being cleaned. One of the things under there was a latex glove, which sets the mind racing about what that was used for.
The staff were BRILLIANT. They were helpful and very kind. The low level shower was also BRILLIANT.
There was no fresh air in my room. I really wanted to open a window. The air con is re-cycled air and when I turned it off the room was stuffy. The fridge was hard to close - it often didn't seal properly. I would have liked tea bags added each day (So I purchased some locally). The high shower was very weak - like soft rain (maybe it was meant to be like this)

Satisfying breakfast with waitress service offering a menu cooked to perfection.
Breakfast menu had no kippers.
No car park. We both suffer from arthritis and it was painful walking over a mile with our suitcases.☹️

Breakfast. Toaster?? Toast should be brought to you when the hotel is this good elsewhere, coffee in a machine? the same goes. Also the one slow coffee machine was broken.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night. We were blown away by the size and the beautiful decoration of the room. Comfortable big bed and amazing bathroom. The receptionists were kind and helpful. We also added the breakfast which was buffet style and you could order a cooked dish from the menu as well, highly recommend.
Was located right by the cathedral and close to shopping streets.

This is the perfect place to stay in Exeter, very comfortable room, central location, great staff, outstanding breakfast and brilliant ambience.

Great location and lovely helpful staff . Ate at the hotel the first night and the food was delicious and the staff were on the right side of attentive. The air con was very much needed during the heatwave and it was a relief to come into the hotel and our room.
We ordered breakfast as room service and the hot food was cold. And the croissant was stale. Very expensive mistake on our part.
The tv only worked if cast from our phones which intermittently worked.
