Centara Life Wisma Hotel Ratchaburi

"Brand-new and super clean rooms – honestly the best stay in Ratchaburi compared to other hotels! Food prices are very reasonable, portions are huge, and the taste is excellent. The lady staff at the restaurant (sorry, forgot her name) gave such warm service and even recommended Ratchaburi’s specialty dish, the famous 'Black Tofu' – totally worth it!"

We checked in a little early which was great. The bed was very comfortable. There was a restaurant & bar on site but it looked more like a cafeteria so not very welcoming for a drink. The room was also the breakfast room which explains the style of the room. There were very few restaurants nearby.

I stayed for 2 nights in Nov 2024.

Pros:
-room is big with king bed which is comfortable. it's firm but not too firm. medium-firm firm mattress i'd say.
-the side sofa couch
-bathroom is big. glassed shower.
-cotton buds, toothpaste, toothbrush, shower cap provided.
-hair dryer provided.
-large bathroom bench space.
-aircon works well but i think they need to clean the inside of it because i saw some black mould spots on the aircon vent flap.
-water is provided daily and daily housekeeping.
-tissue box provided with proper tissues not the tiny peices of paper some other hotels have.
-parking in front of hotel

Cons:
-no hand soap provided.
-i didn't really like the body wash as it was too drying, uses harsher chemicals that dry the skin.
-wifi is a bit slow. mobile speed tested at 10mbps (download) and 9.84 mpbs (upload).
-breakfast is a bit poor on the first day, the congee didn't taste that great, average taste. Although i will say the one good thing about the breakfast is the salad options, they had plenty and it was fresh. Also on the flip side on the second day here the breakfast choices were better, they even made a delicious pumpkin soup for me to cater to my allergies. So overall i'd say it's a bit of a mix bag.

Wonderful hotel.
Plenty of parking space in the back and few on the front of the hotel.
The room was big and everything vas very clean.
Good mattress, four pillows in the double bed and electric outlets on both sides.
Powerful and quiet aircon.
Very nice shower with plenty of power, water hot and shower door tight so water did not splash outside.
Big floor mirror outside the bathroom.
Only 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive to either Robinsons or Lotus shopping centers.
Very nice Chicken Satay restaurant just outside and good Chinese restaurant backside next to the car park.
Would definitely stay here again.
