Extremely helpful host had some great recommendations that made for a memorable stay. Clean tidy room, simple pleasant breakfast on the roof top with expansive views to the Ayasuluk Castle.

We had an amazing 2 night stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and super informative. The hotel was very clean and well laid out with an great courtyard and pool. Breakfast was roof top and located 5 min walk from attractions and bus and train station. Great market and restaurants. Highly recommended staying there.

On arrival, we were given an informative briefing of how to visit the various sights. We stayed 3 nights, and were really glad we did. It allowed us to see things over 2 days, and also to relax by the pool. This hotel and Selcuk were the best days we spent in Turkey. It is certainly the best value place for eating out. The included breakfast on the top floor was a great start to each day.

My family and I were delighted with our stay at the Nazar Hotel during our day trip to Ephesus. Located just one street away from the main route to the archaeological sites, this charming hotel sits in a residential neighborhood within walking distance of the Ephesus Museum, local cafes, and shops. The convenient gated parking area in the back was perfect for our car.
What truly made our experience exceptional was the owner’s outstanding hospitality and local expertise. Speaking fluent English, he provided invaluable tips that helped us maximize our time and navigate the ancient sites efficiently. Our family room was clean and simple, perfectly sized for three guests, and comfortably air-conditioned. The excellent water pressure in the shower was a welcome luxury after our day of sightseeing. The traditional Turkish breakfast was graciously moved from 8:00 AM to 7:30 AM to accommodate our early start, featuring authentic specialties plus a delicious lemon poppy cake served with Turkish tea and coffee.
The Nazar Hotel is truly a hidden gem that combines comfort, convenience, and genuine Turkish hospitality. While we didn’t have time to enjoy the swimming pool during our brief visit, this family-run establishment proved to be the perfect base for exploring Ephesus, offering exceptional value and thoughtful service that enhanced our entire experience.

Das Zimmer in welchem wir übernachten sollten, war kein Hotelzimmer. Viel zu klein, kein Schreibtisch. Wir haben das Hotel sofort verlassen und nicht einmal unser Geld zurück bekommen. Sehr ärgerlich.

Alles ok, einfaches Hotel nicht geeignet bei hohen Erwartungen!

Gemütliches Familien Hotel, sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Hotel Besitzer der immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Sauber schöner Pool und gepflegter Garten. Sehr zentral gelegen.

Great family run place in the centre of Selcuk. Very friendly hosts with all information about the area. Large very clean room with comfortable beds and a big shower. Cleaned every day as needed. Breakfast on the foof was plentiful. Pool was so beautiful in the garden, I wish we could have stayed longer!

Pour ceux qui aiment les conseils et un accueil cordial, les hôtes sont amoureux de leur région et savent bien vous conseiller. Ce n'est pas l'endroit que j'ai préféré en Turquie, mais c'est un lieu clé dans l'histoire de ce pays.

The owner met us at the door friendly and very helpful in making arrangments for our stay there.

The owner/front desk is very nice and gave us very helpful suggestions about the attractions, transportation options and dinning selections upon arrival. The breakfast is prepared based on our schedule. Nice backyard and hotel settings overall.

The proprietor was kindly forthcoming with excellent advice on Ephesus and the surrounding sights. The 8am arrival to Ephesus was especially helpful. Great value.
