Lovely old pub and good dog walking opposite. Lovely food, friendly staff and good atmosphere. However the room was very small. Bit cramped for me and the dog and large people may find the shower inaccessible. This needs to be made clear in advance

staff were lovely and accommodating, instead of having a full English I requested sandwiches to take with me as I had early starts and were ready for me to take to site, they were amazing :)
there is a local shop as well stocking necessary items as i forgot a few items and they did have the classic sweets in jars i haven't seen in years
just across the road is a church tower that rings every 15 minutes which was a nice during the day, last time i heard bells was when i got married and brought back memory's. i did go for a few walks after work and there are many iconic places to go being a nice village.

check in and out was easy and quick

many thanks for letting me stay at this lovely Inn, i prefer places like this as it felt homely instead of big chains. I have travelled a lot so far this year and stayed in 6 hotels/ inns and all I can say this is the best place I have stayed so far

Great slightly out of the way place…. Very nice servers

check in was fast and organised, but no welcome or chat from the bar maid who gave us our keys.
The room was cramped and tiny, but well decorated and the furnishings were to a high standard. They had done the best they could to this extremely small room.
Breakfast choice was full english with boxes of cereal and supermarket multi pack yogurts on a table. The full english had no options it just cameagain as it came and to be honest was hot and tasty. Just a strange set up really.
I wouldnt stay again, as I dont think it was value for money, I stayed in room 5 and to end the review on a good note the shower was hot and had great pressre.

It was lovely, quiet area, central to places we needed to get to, fantastic food and very nice staff.

I can’t fault this place. Friendly welcome and check-in. Room comfortable and clean. Excellent dinner, beer and breakfast. If in the area it is highly recommended

Stayed two nights bed and breakfast, really enjoyed it and would stay again. Room very well thought out, and though small every inch of space was used ingeniously. Excellent cooked breakfast.
