L’HÔTEL du LAC Hanoi

This hotel was perfect- very accommodating, the room was comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the sky bar is really nice. We were there for a New Years Eve celebration and the staff went all out for a night I will remember for a long time. They also helped book an overnight trip to Ninh Binh that was excellent. Highly recommend!

Great staff, very polite and helpful right from the staff untill our bags were loaded for the airport transfer. Clean well maintained rooms at a very convenient location. Decent veg/vegan options also for Indians. We also split our stay so that we could go the Halong Bay overnight cruise and left most of our luggage with the hotel.

Had the most comfortable and amazing stay at the hotel du lac! All the staff members are so friendly here, love the hospitality! ❤️ Also, the hotel is at a point where almost all the famous spots and shopping areas are walkable.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the hotel. The entire staff is exceptional and took care of everything for us. The location is amazing as well - right next to everything in Hanoi - from night market to train street to the lake - everything is walkable. The rooms and amenities were amazing, and we really enjoyed the New Year's eve countdown party as well. Our entire stay was amazing and we would highly recommend everyone to stay here for the lovely hospitality. The spa experience was amazing too. Definitely recommend having a relaxing session here.

We loved this hotel so much that we booked i when we returned to Hanoi at the end of our trip. The staff was incredible. The breakfast is delicious. The location is great!. This was our favorite hotel in Vietnam.

It was an amazing experience, right from check-in to check-out.
Jolie from the front desk guided us nicely about places to shop and visit for sight seeing.
Emylee in the breakfast area, suggested a cafe for egg coffee, Cafe Giang. The place and coffee was great. We want to thank her for her warmth and kindness.
All other staff members, Anna, Alice, Helen, Debbie, Dulcie, Jolie and Enzo were very warm and helpful.
Enzo helped us with the weighing scale in the room.
Hotel’s lovely Christmas goodies made it all the more special.
The location of the hotel is right at the centre of all happening places in old quarter, shops, money exchange, tour operators, Hoàn Kiếm lake, Train Street, Dong Xuan market. Night Market etc.

Our group of seven had a fantastic stay at L'Hotel du LAC Hanoi. Its convenient location made exploring Old Town easy, while the friendly staff, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, and rooftop bar (happy hour drinks from 4pm-7pm!) made our stay especially enjoyable. The hotel's stunning Art Deco design was a standout as well. We would absolutely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Hanoi!

We had such a nice stay here! The hotel is just near the lake in the heart of Hanoi, so it’s a perfect HQ for exploring. The breakfast is also delicious. But the staff truly made it special - going out of their way to help us with transportation, reservations, and other ideas. Thanks especially to Louis for his attention & help!

Staying in L Hotel Le Duc is such a nice experience, with Chloe and all the front desk where very accomodating, warm and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay here - and kept coming back each time we were in Hanoi throughout the trip as the staff were so friendly. Excellent service, breakfast is 10/10 and the rooftop happy hour also winners! 100% recommend and would come again!

If you are traveling to Hanoi you MUST stay here! The staff was all so wonderful. Chloe in particular helped us book a car from the airport, book our Ha Long Bay Cruise, and made suggestions for other places in Vietnam as well. This hotel is very special. All the staff are hospitality superstars! This is in the heart of the old town and it was Hanoi on a stick! Breakfast was a crowd pleaser, I absolutely loved the special local market touches, Vietnamese donuts, green rice cakes and local dried fruits. I was battling off the flu and still managed to see and do so much during the short stay! I would definitely recommend this place 1000%

Choosing to stay at L’Hotel du Lac was one of the best decisions we made. The way we were treated here felt genuine and thoughtful, nothing overdone. The staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived, like guests rather than customers.
The location is also a big plus. It’s right where you want to be if you’re exploring the Old Quarter, with plenty to see and do just steps away.

This hotel was a joy to stay at in every way! The team were wonderful hosts - we were greeted and introduced to the neighbourhood with such care and sincerity, and were met with smiles every time we passed through the lobby. Everyone was so unfailingly helpful and warm. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I don’t normally eat hotel breakfasts because there’s usually so much around the city to eat, but we enjoyed the breakfast at L’Hotel du Lac every single day. They had a varied and interesting buffet with local and western options, and made-to-order meals. Location was prime, just steps away from great food, shops, a BRGMart where we bought all the good snacks, and the lake. We’re so grateful to all the lovely people running L’Hotel du Lac and making every moment wonderful. The afternoon before checkout, a fruit platter was delivered to our room as a farewell gift. The extremely thoughtful team also remembered a passing remark we made, saying we loved the peanut candy served at the hotel spa, and gave us a gift bag of the candy as we left! Such genuine hospitality really made our trip, and we would highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Hanoi. Thank you, team! We hope to stay with you again!

This hotel is small and quaint like most hotels in the old quarter. It is well placed to walk around. Lots of shops and activities from the moment you step out. We took a junior suite and it was super small but comfortable. Staff are exceptionally pleasant and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Excellent location, amazing staff and service, delightful hotel with a funky, elegant atmosphere, good room size (not huge but big enough), great breakfast food choices, fabulous roof top bar. Loved everything about our stay and the price was great!

The team at L'Hotel du LAC Hanoi is the best team I ever encountered in all my overseas holiday trips. They are warm & friendly. Fanatic hotel! Staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. Great rooms, good size, had everything we needed and very quiet. Breakfast was great as was rooftop bar and spa. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you!
