Room was small but functional, bunk beds were comfy
Great inn and great stay
Good location for Snowdon and pen-y-pass car park. Close to Betwy’s-coed. Helpful staff. Very very soft bed which meant an uncomfortable nights sleep. No fridge in room. Room by fire door in hallway so constantly banging closed anytime it was used. Room didn’t feel premium as paid for. Pub restaurant food was well cooked and tasty. Bar had a lively atmosphere but not too noisy
Great stay, clean and tidy. Staff helpful and friendly. Great location for zip world and waterfall hunting.
Plenty to see locally. Arts and crafts, great pubs and stunning scenery. Free parking opposite the hotel. A decent selection of locally made beers and a great selection of meals in the restaurant.
We stayed for one night, arriving after 9pm. Check-in was quick and efficient. We had a pleasant stay in a family room with very comfortable beds. Although we didn’t use the dining facilities, we were greeted by the aroma of delicious food upon arrival. The free car park is a great feature, and the hotel’s location is peaceful and lovely. Thank you.
A lovely little hotel with very pleasant and friendly staff. We would definitely recommend it.
excellent hotel and food excellent nothing to much for the staff in helping you and so friendly . Rooms spotless would go there again .
The room was fine but the sofa bed for my 2 children was rock hard and had a massive dip at the top so we had to plump it up with pillows. Not the best night's sleep for them unfortunately... The walls are paper thin so I was awake all night hearing the room next door. I could hear everything🙈
The lady in the breakfast room was amazing! Super helpful and kind 😁
Overall 👍
A lovely welcome from the staff after a fin filled day in North Wales.Delicious dinner and breakfast with excellent service. The homemade apple crumble with custard was absolutley delightful.
The carpet got too much hair on floor. Curtain was broken so flies from outside came in making us feel terrified. Room didn’t seem clean.
Bar and restaurant was great. Took a long while to get food due to staffing but not anyone’s fault, they were very busy. Older property so it is quite noisy but all good if you bring ear plugs. Location is nice, not much around in terms of shops etc but a really good base for the area.
Great property with a bar doing lovely food. Great position to explore the surrounding area
Hotel was very clean and staff where amazing, perfect stop if you like hiking and walking , amazing views and very nice food
I booked in for 1 night as I had a race starting in Capel Curig. The room walls were so thin I could hear all the conversations from next door, including their alarm clock and the 4 times they snoozed it. The bed was cheap, soft & uncomfortable. The rooms had cheap furnishings. Definitely not worth the money they charge & no early breakfast option. I wish I’d just gone to a local b&b at £30 cheaper.
Our stay at Tyn y Coed was wonderfully pleasant!
The hotel is set in a beautiful, scenic valley.
The food was a highlight – both the veggie and meat options were amazing, especially the flavorful curry.
Solid all around. Food was good, pub was happy and friendly, service great. Wish we could have stayed longer
Great quiet place
Breakfast wasnt hot despite being cooked to order !
