Decent hotel in a good location to enjoy the views
Pros:

Great location opposite a nice beach with a beach restaurant. Beds were very comfy with nice bedding. Great shower and nice products.
Balcony room with seaview
Hotel arranged transfers- very efficient. Shoutout to the skipper on our way back to Male for stopping when he spotted a pod of dolphins - we bobbed around for a while thoroughly enjoying the show- thankyou :)

Cons:

Room was a little tired and needed a refurb but we still enjoyed our stay.
Room wasn’t as clean as I would like ( smears on glass doors, balcony, mirrors) but was ok.
Waiting staff were a little too much- trying too hard either for accolades or tips? was a bit off putting.
In general tho, staff were delightful and helpful when booking trips and transfers tho

Lo peor de precio calidad
Pros:

La ubicacion y el personal del comedor.

Cons:

El personal de recepcion nos dejaron dos horas en recepcion y no nos atendian y nos dieron una habitacion sin vistas y nosotros habiamos pagado una con vistas.
Nos hicieron pagar la cena de fin de año a los tres y nosotros ya la habiamos pagado.

Bad start but solution was found & some pictures need to be updated
Pros:

Restaurant and breakfast staff were very helpful, friendly, genuinely interested. Other staff was also very nice but restaurant staff gets bonus points :)

Both rooms we slept in were modern, had a good bed, were clean and had a good bathroom. Some minor repairs would benefit the hotel.

Hotel offers excursions as well and when you book them at the time of check-in, you get a discount. Be aware that on most excursions, they feed the fauna which makes it feel less natural.

We had dinner twice at the hotel beach buffet and this was very nice as well, plenty of choice even for vegetarian people.

There is a lagoon in front of the hotel but bring your own snorkeling equipment, the hotel doesn’t provide free snorkeling equipment (only if you book an excursion).

Cons:

We booked a room with partial sea view and balcony.
The room we first received didn’t meet up to the pictures that were displayed at the time of booking (and that are still being used). We were very disappointed by the idea that we would have to spend 6 nights in that room and especially with that view and asked for a solution. Eventually (after almost 2h waiting in the lobby) they told us that we could cancel the booking and they would refund. Everything was fully booked so that was their solution. But then what? There were no other options on the island, all somewhat similar accommodation was fully booked so that wasn’t a solution to our problem. We felt ripped off. The construction outside made a lot of noise, drilling was going on so no way you are going to sit on the balcony you paid for.

The same evening someone knocked on our door, we were getting another room the next day, even though they told the room we had gotten was what we had paid for (partial sea view). The next day we received the room type that corresponds to the pictures we saw at the time of booking. We were relieved.
The hotel offered us a compensation in the from of a free excursion. This wasn’t necessary but a nice gesture. On that excursion however there was no vegetarian meal provided although we had specifically mentioned this dietary wish.

Conclusion: be careful and aware that if you book partial sea view, you might get the room view we had the first day (see picture attached to this review). In my opinion this should be a separate category at the time of booking so you clearly know which room you are getting.

Other impressions:
The island of Maafushi really is one big construction site. There is a lot, a lot, a lot of construction going on.

Views from the 8th floor (pool) are not completely the same as the ones portrayed on booking.com. Buildings have been built to block sea view from 1 side (almost) completely.

Pros:

Accomodation is good. The island itself feels like a dump construction site. Trash everywhere in the ocean, very sad to see. Food all over the island tastes so bad. Would not come back.

Excellent experience, both hotel and cruises booked
Pros:

The hotel is very modern and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was big, had plenty of storage for clothes and bathroom was well equipped. Daily cleaning did a great job.
But most of all, the staff from their trips and cruises went above and beyond. I cannot thank them enough for the cruises we had and snorkeling experience!

Triton Is pretty much good stay hotel.
Pros:

I love everything about this hotel. Amazing location and shop is nearby every corner. Staff is friendly and cooperative.

Cons:

There is nothing negative about this hotel. But only disliked was distance to beach public back and forth and time consuming. That it. Overall is good .👍

Pros:

We came for family holidays me and my mom had wonderful experience at Triton Prestige.
Thoobe - hotel manager is absolutely incredible person he ensured we are looked after and recieved all we requested also made us feel very special.

Hotel location is very peaceful and easy to get around island and to other islands. They have everything you need including tours, transportation, fantastic rooftop terrace with views where you can see sunset.

I definitely recommend to visit and stay at Triton Prestige Seaview & Spa.

Overall very good and pleasant stay
Pros:

Staff were very friendly, cleaned the rooms on time.

Cons:

only issue was with the bathroom which kept getting clogged causing water not to drain in the sink and shower. Did call reception regarding it but wasn’t resolved.
