Beds were comfy, location was good by the beach, if a little noisy from boy racers outside, initially in the evening. Staff were always helpful, when there. Nice parking discount at Q Park multi storey. 5 mins walk.
Room 206 has HUGE stain on carpet in room, we advised front desk. All Windows were filthy, both inside and out. Room marketed as "Seaview", once you balanced on the end of a bed! Room was a 1970s time warp decor(especially bathroom). Hotel had a jaded , I need a revamp look about it. Beers in the bar, all imported mass produced rubbish. Sell local craft please! Breakfast only available from 8am!! We left at 7.30am.
The location was good.
Staff ok
Trying to find parking was bad. We took up the discount offer advertised. Parked up for 2 days. When tried to get out of carpark qr code didn't work. What should have cost about £12 cost £50.
The hotel was in need of a serious deep clean. The lift was a disgrace. Rubbish and sand left for over 2 days.
Our room was in the attic. Sea view was a small window and we shared the roof with the seagulls? Wardrobe very dusty
Pillows stained. Bathroom very small. Shower head broke, door to shower would suit a small person. Black mould. Terrible water pressure dust on all skirting boards and under furniture.
Our room was long walk from the lift and up some dodgy stairs - a hazard for elderly people to say the least.
I advise you not to take the risk. Over £200 pounds for 2 uncomfortable and noisy nights?
Every staff member we encountered throughout our stay were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Excellent shower, a beautiful view outside our window and very comfortable beds.
We had a lovely stay.
Lovely

Zimmer war sehr klein aber ok
Can’t beat the location, and a lovely apartment
Had a lovely weekend break here in a family room, overlooking the sea.
Knew exactly what we were getting so it wasn’t a surprise, yes the hotel is a little tiered and dated but I actually found it charming.
The staff were all lovely.
Parking is a nightmare, out the front is just 1 hour at at time, they do have cheaper parking in a multi-storey nearby, but my car was too big to park there so reception mentioned a few others we could try, we got there at 8pm on a Friday night, car parks seemed to still be full, but after the show ended there were spaces by the theatre. And we found the car parks more inland had spaces when we had to go out on the Saturday morning.
Had drinks outside on the terrace on the Saturday evening which had a nice atmosphere. There was a singer on the Friday night, but we were too tired and could hear it all in the room.
Room had air con which was welcome during the heatwave. Beach was just across the road.
The only thing that I can say that went well was going to the beach and enjoying the day. The staff were very polite and helpful.
The room was not great at all. Paying £200+ for the room we got felt like robbery compared to the photos on the profile. The room looked old, the bathroom made so much noise every time you flushed the toilet, the room window facing a back street was super noisy because the England game was on, and everyone was making a lot of noise. The halls smelled like an old church. My partner said she could smell a damp-like smell from somewhere within the room. There was no fan unless you asked for one, and you would be lucky to get one, considering how hot the room was and where it was situated in the hotel.
I know this hotel has more buildings, but this room that I was in really was something trapped in the past. I'll not be staying there again; I'll locate an apartment next time.
Please, to the owner/owners, please take the time to refurbish those surrounding rooms during the hotel's downtime. I was in room 160, and it needs improvement.
Staff, location close to beach.
Price was very high for a basic room with no Wifi, breakfast items were stale
The worst hotel I've stayed in since an ex Soviet horror years ago. Booked three rooms at short notice £221 each which you would expect some level of quality.
Dirty, cramped, hot, noisy. Could describe further but all three couples agreed one word sums up - "terrible". Didn't eat there, my wife wouldn't even have a cup of tea in the room as everything was so dirty.
All three couples took up separately with the manager who promised he would take up with the owner on their return three days later. Needless to say no follow up. Staff looked beaten like they were dealing with endless complaints.
Avoid.
Location was good for us
Not running hot water for two days mould in the rooms no fresh bedding or towels we had to have a cold wash in the sink in the evening because we couldn’t wait no longer when asking for money back so we couldn’t stay else where they found a room after saying they had none a down grade from are room it was worse we paid £290 for two nights will not refund us or even give us something back told us to contact booking.com witch we did an they can’t come to an agreement the hotel lady was so rude when we was trying to sort this issue with are stay would never go here again
Location
The photographs promoted by Booking.com showed a large window over looking the sea, we paid extra for this preferred large room with large windows. On checking in we were given a room on level 3 in the antic with a small window to the far right of the room, when I questioned staff regarding being allocated the wrong room, they replied all these rooms were their deluxe. Our bed was a 4’6’’ bed, it had ply board under the mattress, the bathroom was looking old, paint missing on the the doors however, the hotel had installed timber panels painted green behind the bed to give the photographs some feel of modernisation however, the rest was disappointment.
