It was very clean wonderful views overlooking the sea the bed was good the room was lovely
The key to get into the room felt like it was going to snap everytime we went to open the door. The breakfast was a let down for continental the cooked breakfast was good.
We stayed here 5 years ago and were excited to see it had been refurbished - but only some rooms. Unfortunately we didn't get to stay on one of those, we had a huge room with a great view, but it was very run-down and shabby sadly.
The staff were professional, breakfast was good and the pizzas were outstanding!
We hope to stay again when the entire place has been given a long overdue upgrade.
The room was worn out, the toilet in the bathroom particularly.
The property was lovely and clean very comfortable
The WiFi was not working at all. When asked was informed it was the whole of the street. However when going to a bar next door the internet worked there.
Bathroom was very clean .Staff were helpful Good location.
Room was very plane no pictures on the wall. no chest of drawers. no help book or information in the room.
.
Great location with lovely staff!
I don't know what this property is but it is definitely not a hotel. Very good location and the staff is very accommodating and those are the only positives for me.
No parking at the hotel. They have a partnership with the local Q-Park, but it is a good 10-minute walk from the hotel.
The whole building is very dated and doesn't justify the price we paid for the night. We paid extra for the room with the sea view but it wasn't worth it because windows were too dirty and covered in bird mess. Please see the picture.
The Location was perfect ... prime infact😀The hotel room was tired and needed a total overhaul, i did speak to the lovely lady who said all the rooms need upgrading... i would check this before booking again not very good value the £359 price tag for 2 nights , room only the moment ... i would go back if the room 358 is updated .
The room was very poor only the view and 2 toilets made it ok... very old furniture and shabby ( as i said this is on their list to upgrade) Curtains were hanging off the rail & fell off in my hands on my head.
The location of hotel.
Water left in room, did not know how long it had been there, having to get to hotel before finding out about discounted parking, closer to hotel. There was not any choices of some mixers which meant going elsewhere to get a drink.
The exterior was lovely, and the staff at check-in were friendly and accommodating, especially when we asked if they could store our bags.
The hotel is in major need of updating. The hallways look like something out of The Shining, and our room was equally disappointing. There was no headboard, the kettle leaked and scalded my feet, the curtains were shabby, and the mattress had uncomfortable springs. The bathroom also had black mould stains, and the electricity shorted several times during our stay.
We asked if there was a better room available, but were told there wasn’t one. That may well have been true, but there was very little apology or acknowledgement of the issues, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it really needs significant investment and refurbishment.
Location apart from that nothing , although the traffic and people screaming on the road felt like a gang war going next to you.
The room felt like furness when we entered although it was hot weather but ventilation was worst , paid £225 for a night but the facilities were equivalent to a £45 B&B , I think just paid for the location, worst part is the check in time which is 4 pm and check out is 10 a.m which is ridiculous and don't think that is fair although staff did help to accommodate us 30 min early but don't think that is good enough, until and unless you don't really have any other option I won't recommend it , it is quite outdated rooms and price on normal day should not be more than £60.
Shout out to the annoying seagulls who ensured we don't get a good sleep starting from around 4 am , they were super loud, couldn't even close the window since ventilation is terrible and you might suffocate

The location is perfect, the room was a good size and comfortably fit myself and my three children. Check-in was quick and easy and the room had all the amenities you would need- plenty of towels, a hairdryer, tea and coffee etc. An added bonus, that we were VERY grateful for, was shampoo, conditioner and body wash as I had completely forgotten to bring any. Although we didn’t use it, it was good to know that there was a restaurant and bar had we needed it. I did read that some people think the place is dated, however in my opinion it’s an old building and that is part of its charm!
The only inconvenience was the parking, however I wouldn’t mark them down on this as parking in Weymouth can be a struggle anyway and sea front parking is significantly limited. They did provide options for using the multistorey car park.
