The big bed was very comfortable even though the sheet was a protective covering could do with nicer sheets on top . The bed was the only thing good about this hotel but it was a very good location .
The staff were very friendly .
Small rubbish bedside tables needs proper furniture though the wallpaper n panelling was nice in our bedroom . This hotel needs updating, en-suite old fashioned , A toilet seat that didn't actually fit the toilet. The view from our room was looking at loads of old rubbish . The noise was loud in the early hours .
Had to pay for breakfast on top of expensive room which was nicely presented by nice chef but it was cold .Even had to pay for the continental breakfast which was £6.95 which was very limited . You have to vacate room by 10am .The hotel doors close at 10pm but you are given a key n fob to get back in later. . It Was a very disappointing experience staying here . It was not worth the money .
The location was excellent right on the beach
The decor in the whole hotel was dated, the en-suite was in a very poor state of repair there was rust around the bath plug hole the toilet seat had narks all over it etc etc
Easy access to the beach and the local restaurants
No air conditioning windows full of bird shit. The glass for the drink where not clean from the previous night
Hotel slightly shabby but room was excellent with good view of beach
More lights needed in upstairs corridors
Clean fresh modern updated room and good quality shower room.
Quite different to many other stays in Weymouth
Not the best breakfast. And not really worth the extra cost.
Location
Staff we lovely
The rooms are so dated !!
Curtains ( if you can call them that) falling off...
Just shabby...
The only good thing was the location. Room was disgusting, dated furniture, chips on the toilet seat and bath. The only window we had was frosted glass. The bed linen smelt musky. It was not worth £160 without a breakfast.
Location was excellent. We paid extra for a sea view and the room was spacious, bathroom was in a decent working order and in room facilities were spot on. The two lads on reception were very helpful as we arrived early to bag drop. Lovely outside space to have a drink and sit down. Excellent place to have a beach stay
Curtains really need to be black out. The sun comes directly though and the road can be noisy early on as things get opened up and streets cleaned. Black out blinds would have helped to go back off
Nice friendly people
Everything
Location was amazing not too far from the town. The hotel was amazing apart from the shower could have done with a new base but all in all a great stay and would stay again l. Also the staff needs to learn barista skills as he dint know how to make a hot chocolate he just mixed the milk and power together and it was cold
Staff were pleasant and helpful
Confusing system for parking..
Location
Had to pay 50pounds for parking . Was not informed they changed there parking arrangement . Very disappointed .
The hotel is in a good location to access beachfront and centre.
The hotel staff seemed kind/helpful and listened to my issues with our room.
The Hotel smelt like mould on upper floors, the room itself had a strong smell of mould and damp, the lock on the room door was faulty, pigeon faeces on carpet and on top of wardrobe, pigeons nested in storage cupboard in bathroom, the interior of wardrobe was coated in dust, the curtains were stained, the windows to the room were very dusty/dirty and did not lock which meant the noise from the road in the early hours of the morning was awful, toilet was disgusting and shower was blocked, mattress was collapsed on one side and touched bed base when laid on.
The room seemed as it may have previously been used as a storage room. When looking at the room from outside the hotel you could clearly see the rooms surrounding are being used for storage/ undergoing works.
Location fantastic
Noise in promenade
The view from the room window was amazing, the bed was very comfortable.
Firstly when we checked in and were told our room number 201 and given a key we was told we were on the second floor, and had to vacate by 10am or we would have to be charged more money, we went to the second floor and was unable to find the room, we eventually went through a door that never had any room numbers displayed, a very narrow doorway to discover we had to go up more stairs to our room,
We went into the room and tried to lock the door, it would not lock, so we had to put a chair in front of the door,
Then we went into the bathroom, well we were horrified that the toilet seat was hanging off the toilet where the seat was not fixed on, Then looked at the shower it was absolutely disgusting with dirt all round the edge of the cubicle and also on the floor of the shower inside which prevented us from using it,
The carpet looked like it hadn't been hoovered all bits on the floor, the skirting boards were filfy, and one of the bedside tables had all tea/coffee drip marks down it, the cup that I picked up had dirty marks on it preventing us from having a drink, so for the money we paid for a room that we couldn't shower in and couldn't have a drink, and the TV wouldn't work, we had an absolutely bad experience and definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone,
We booked this room through Booking .com with three stars and some good reviews.
I really don't know how people can give a good review about this hotel.
The occasion we were there for was a complete shambles.
Location excellent. Room was very spacious . Staff were friendly
The shower took ages to warm up as did the hot water out the tap. Also there's no proper heating in the room so I wouldn't stay in winter. There was 1 heater in the room but that wouldn't have been enough when it's really cold. Also would have liked a small fridge in the room, it was certainly spacious enough to fit one.
Excellent position. Well run hotel.view of beach.
Bathroom small room a bit small.could do with towel rail in shower
