Amazing Stay
Pros:

We loved the management team Trevor and Louis and all thier team were amazing. We laughed from the minute we got there to the minute we left, the work that they have done to improve this hotel is brilliant.

I accidentally spilt my drink on the bedding and Trevor changed the sheets in seconds, always had time to chat and genuinely cared about how your stay was

We will see you again in April

Thank you to all of you 5☆☆☆☆☆

Cons:

We loved everything

Happy beach / not beach short break.
Pros:

Location opposite beach, light breakfast £ available, small comfortable lounge with bar, live music occasionally, superb room, fabulous bathroom with P-bath, showed (rainfall and shower heads), huge bath towels, really good furniture, tea/coffee in room with lots of products, speed kettle. Large wardrobe. Fabulous bay window view.

Cons:

All ok

Behind the somewhat drab outide in the winter is a gem!
Pros:

Room 205 was superb, great view from the bay window, beautifully decorated and the ensuite was superb.

Cons:

Don't be afraid of thr initial view of the property in the winter, with bare vines on the building. It looked grey and drab on the wet afternoon of arrival. There's a gem of a hotel inside and room 205 was perfect.

Our Safe Bet Hotel, Every Year. We Love It. Not Fancy but Clean and Friendly.
Pros:

I've now stayed at this hotel 4 times, the most recently in May 2025 and we keep returning. The staff are friendly and although the entrance has a bit of a hostel vibe, the rooms are clean and I always feel safe here travelling as a mother with a child on her own. It's located pretty much right across from the helter skelter, and it's convenient for going onto the beach, so you can go back to your own room easily for toilet trips, etc. And it's really easy to get into the shopping area and across to the harbour. We did have a noise problem one year when we were in an absolutely gorgeous room above the dining room and there was live jazz music (it was great, but loud!) until 11pm and although I loved it, it was hard for my 7 year old daughter to get to sleep until it finished. But other than that, we had really perfect stays. We will most likely stay here again for our holiday sometime this summer. We love it. But if you're looking for something fancy and romantic, it might not be the best for that. It's definitely perfect for our purposes!

Very enjoyable, would return but hopefully have a sea view.
Pros:

Very helpful staff, a good location but no parking. Room was lovely and warm and comfortable.

Cons:

Back bedroom so no sea view, it appeared the further up the hotel you got the decor was not the greatest. No parking.
