Pros:

The staff were polite and helpful. The view, which we paid extra for, was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable, good linen. Good tea and coffee options. Generous size room. The shower was great.

Cons:

Multiple issues with the bathroom, the door didn't close properly, there was no heating in the bathroom, not even a heated towel rail. No where to dry towels, no shelf for toiletries, anti fog mirror didn't work.
The television had limited channels, even basic like BBC 1 didn't work. Internet very poor, kept dropping out.
Lift was broken on departure day.
Generally, the hotel was dated, though I appreciate it is undergoing a refurbish.

Pros:

Great location for town centre. Room we had had a beautiful view of the sea front and the continental breakfast was great value

Cons:

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable and pillows were a bit flat for us

had a really lovely stay at the Fairhaven Hotel in Weymouth. The location is absolutely perfect, overlooking the sea with beautiful views right from the front. The staff were very polite, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed, which made a big difference to our experience.
The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day out. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Weymouth.

Pros:

The Hotel is ideally situated overlooking the sea in close proximity to lovely stores and independent shops with young staff who are very happy to assist, a credit to the town, lots of restaurants and pubs, and a whole range of generations in the town.
There is a fun fair on the front to keep the kids happy. The town is very clean and very well kept by the council. There is no parking at the hotel because of location but they have a arrangement with Q parking on commercial road you take your ticket on entry, when you leave the hotel they will give you a ticket (don't forget it) when you return to the carpark you scan your original ticket which will show you the price you would have paid then scan the ticket from the hotel and it will reduce the price to £6 for each 24 hour period. The carpark is staffed if you have a problem
