Acnos Grand Hotel

Very nice

As a Vietnamese American returning to Saigon after more than 40 years, I chose Acnos Grand Hotel in District 3 as my first stop before visiting other cities. The hotel gave me a soft and friendly landing. Traffic outside was intense — pedestrians, scooters, and cars flowing in all directions — but somehow, it all works! Có lối băng qua đường cả hai phía, nên tôi cũng mạnh dạn… hoà vào dòng xe! Hết xảy con cào cào!

Breakfast? Let’s just say: ăn cơm Tàu, ở nhà Tây — as long as you don’t expect to lấy vợ… Nhật! In other words, it’s more than decent — a good, satisfying mix that starts your day right.

On check-out, there was a small misunderstanding about an extra fee. I respectfully asked to speak with the manager — the American way. Mr. Vinh listened patiently, understood my unique case, and adjusted the charge in a way that was both fair and kind. Hợp tình, hợp lý, and a true reflection of Vietnamese hospitality.

Clean, quiet, convenient, and full of charm — this place is thật đáng đồng $ bát gạo, nhé quý vị đang đọc! I even rebooked it for my return to Saigon before flying back to the U.S. — and that alone says how much I appreciated the experience.”

A good basic hotel option. Best feature was breakfast buffet. Nice to have a pool, even a terrible one, outdoors, literally ON the street. Reception staff courteous, but not very warm, seemed tentative in their duties. Appreciated city map. Room lacked sufficient toiletries

Clean, hot breakfast, good service at breakfast dinning room. 3-star at best.

The hotel is excellent as good as a five star place. Our room was not only spacious and comfortable but also clean and beautiful. The fittings are modern. Having a fridge, mini bar, safe, usable slippers, and clean towels is something that made our stay comfortable beyond expectations. The location is great with easy walkable access to many sights. I strongly recommend this place

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vietnam, I will definitely come back again.

Just a basic hotel in District 3. No frills.

Very friendly staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms. But the pool is in a terrible location right on the noisy and polluted main street with a very loud jet in the pool.

Very convenient and closed to all activities in HCMC.

Very unreliable wifi keeps cutting off.
A/c was very weak.

Very nice staff! Good service and great location! We were close to a lot of shops and restaurants so it was quite convenient to order Grab eats (similar to Uber eats but way cheaper and much faster). Rooms were spacious. Beds were very comfy and we loved the floor to ceiling windows!! Definitely will come back if we have the chance :)

It was nice except I did hear some pounding and sawing in the morning I guess they're still remodeling but it was a very nice place just wish we would have been woken up with that but it was okay I had to go to the airport anyways

Stayed for 3 nights. Spacious room & clean. Friendly staff & nice breakfast. Price reasonable. 👍

Nice hotel good location friendly staff

We have the mixed feeling with Acnos. We booked with Acnos in District 3 but when we called them from Hanoi they did not have any records of our reservation. We had to call Hotels.com and asked for their support. Finally when we landed in Saigon they called us and said our room is ready. But when we came to their hotel they sent us to their Acnos Hotel in District 1. It’s 1 o’clock in the morning. We were offered a smoking room in first floor. The room has no window and smell terrible. We refuse and they moved us to another no window room but at least it’s smell better. It’s already 3 am. We have no choice but accept it with the promise to move to a better room the next day. We have 5 nights booking.
The new room is better with window.
We feel the acnos hotel owed us an apology and should reward us something for their mistakes. Instead they charged us a fee when we lost our key by accident. We are very upset. So even the hotel is ok we don’t recommend it.
