Lovely!
Pros:

Fantastic location next to the train station with a Wetherspoons the other side. Within 10 minutes walk of the Cavern Club and other great bars. Very close to the shops too! Staff were very polite. The room was lovely, modern, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I think our room had a king size which was a change to normal hotel rooms! There is also an umbrella rental service in reception which I just thought was quite thoughtful.

Nothing! It was fantastic.

Bring a hot water bottle.
Pros:

Lovely looking hotel, right on Lime Street.

Cons:

Room layout bizarre and not practical at all. Really high ceilings on the 6th floor.

Room absolutely freezing, reception said they would sort it but never did.

If you pay via booking.com you are charged twice for city tax.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Built in the 1880’s & sympathetically restored. Very comfortable rooms & helpful & friendly staff. The breakfast is excellent.
