The whole staff, led my Dulce, was wonderful. Dulce was warm, kind and always helpful.
The location was perfect very close to city center and the room was nice and clean. Also a rare treat to find an option with two double beds. All the rooms are themed after artists which is a nice touch. There is also a lovely terrace for breakfast, events, or relaxing.
If you're looking for a very quiet retreat with no noise this may not be for you as you will hear cars/other street noise and voices/activity in the building.
Dulce is a wonderful host. It felt very familiar and comfortable to be at the Larimar
Nothing . But be aware it is on a body road to request a room that is further fro the road if you have trouble with that .

The location is wonderful, just a couple of blocks from Santo Domingo church. Very safe surroundings. An easy walk to most of the historic center shops, restaurants, and attractions. There's a beautiful rooftop terrace with a great view of the surroundings, which is wonderful if you want to watch a parade coming down the street. Also a great place to just sit and relax after a long day. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The AC works great. The staff is amazing, very attentive and friendly.
The hotel is at the intersection of two busy streets, so it can be a bit noisy, especially since you're likely to be visiting during celebratory times.
The ladies who work there are amazing people and the owner is very warm and kind.
Fantastic location for our 4 night stay. Our host was just lovely and so helpful and accommodating. Roof top views of the day of dead parade. Really quirky boutique hotel .

The location was great, so close to el centro but not in an over crowded area. Dulce was an amazing hostess and had very helpful recommendations. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

L'hôtel est atypique . Galerie d'art et hôtel. On ne va pas mentir....les bruits de la rue sont présents dans la chambre où nous étions ( mais si nous l'avions souhaité, nous pouvions en changer moyennant un supplément) mais ça ne pose pas de problème la nuit.
Tout est joli. L'atmosphère est particulière, nous avons beaucoup aimé.

The host Dulce really is the sweetest and most welcoming person. This hotel is more of a guest house as it only has 5 rooms, so the host is really able to give a personal touch. The rooms are super clean and spacious and the central location really handy. My room had a huge bath and (unlike other hotels here) there was plenty of hot water.
There was a lot of road noise as my corner room was on the corner of two busy streets. But with ear plugs I still slept well.
Really helpful host. Lived the themed rooms.

Clean and comfortable. Good central location. Dulce the host was very nice. Got up early 4:30 am to make sure we got our cab to the airport
It was Saturday night, and the traffic noise lasted quite awhile.
