Pros:

Not the same location we stayed in before. Far inferior. Pictures are not of this property. Room was significantly smaller. It was next to a common area where other guests sat and talked until 0300.

They gave our room to someone else
Pros:

We booked through booking.com and on the day of our trip the hotel told us they gave our room to someone else, so we arrived at Kivu lake with nowhere to stay. I am guessing they gave our room to someone who booked directly with them and not through booking.com so that they didn’t have to pay the booking com fee

The go-to place when visiting Gisenyi
Pros:

Huge and comfortable bedroom with good quality towel and bathrobe and gigantic bef, very welcoming staff, great rooftop terrace, excellent value for money. Nice buffet breakfast.

I would definitely go back to that hotel!
