Great value and pleasant people!!
Pros:

My room was not in the main hostel, rather it was on the second floor of a quadplex in a little alley on the second street from Calle Adoquin. I thought it was a lovely little place although socially isolated which was its only negative. Mine had no AC which was fine for me. It had lots of windows and even though it got hot as hell in the late afternoon it would cool off by bedtime and really was delightful with the floor fan. It had a fridge and a coffeemaker and that was perfect. It was also a short walk to everything and near a convenience store. The nicest thing we’re all the birds in the canopy of the courtyard. Quite a racket in the mornings but I loved it. Nothing earplugs wouldn’t take care of if needed but I’m an early riser. The housekeeping staff was delightful for the most part and I didn’t need it ever day but it was there if you did. The only negatives I found was that my door needed a curtain over the glass top although the location was suitably private. There is no real hot water but I think it is a mix from the rooftop cistern which was fine by me. And there was an overcharge at checkin that exceeded my hotel.com rate but after s few minutes they figured out how to correct it. Also, all the chairs were terribly uncomfortable.I enjoyed my stay and will probably come back.

Il y a un bar a quelques pieds. Tres bruyant jusqu’à tard. On doit demander pour faire faire le menage. Pas d’eau chaude.

Communication with Hotels.com needs work.
Pros:

Great location in Zipolete, very rustic, which was what we wanted. Had a hard time finding our reservation from Hotels. Finally took us to our room, which was NOT the Superior we booked. Said he did not have that available but could maybe move things around by tomorrow, claimed Hotels.com did not communicate the type of room we paid for. Called Hotels.com to try and get some help, but though they tried were basically helpless. The next day I went to front desk and spoke with a different person who understood and after a while he moved us.
