Would book it again, great price/value
Pros:

Takayama is a small town, however, Gift hotel was just a few blocks away from the rail station and close to the Miyawaga Morning Market (worth visiting for street food). The room was very comfortable and with good space for two guests. Public bath was a plus and breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from.
