Gorgeous Room but don’t book if you’re looking for a quiet weekend get away.
Pros:

The room itself was lovely, very clean and well appointed with charm. Breakfast supplied was lovely! Fresh orange juice, yogurts, honey, well stocked little fridge, and nice touches. All replenished daily.

Cons:

I paid for the premium room and had expected a bath, my mistake. After booking I received a message to state that the kitchen was closed, unfortunate. The worst part was the noise. Although I was told upon check in that there would be music etc I was honestly very shocked by the level of noise in the room until midnight on 2/3 nights. If I was booking for a quiet weekend away I would have been livid.

great ,a nice place to stay.
Pros:

I was very impressed with the size and comfort of our room ,it was exceptionally clean ,we would be happy to stay there again .

Cons:

the only thing I wasn't sure about was where to leave the keys when leaving ,there was nobody around so we just left them on side in our room .A box or something would have been good to drop them in .

Wonderful stay, at a real pub from the 1400's. Amazing place, lovely people
Pros:

Lovely pub with a real atmosphere and a nice bunch of locals, amazing old 15th century inn. Wonder room with a super comfy bed, lovely bathroom and an al round amazing service. Very helpful staff, who pointed me to their sister pub/brasserie just round the corner from the Woolpack. Had a wonderful stay, would certainly stay again.

Truly welcoming and enjoyable stay with open fires and entertainment
Pros:

Served us perfectly whilst in the area, lovely period room with bath and shower. After being out in a very cold Coggeshall we returned to the Woolpack and enjoyed a glass of wine by one of the two roaring open fires. Our hosts were truly accommodating it settling us in and we were made to feel at home with the locals 🙏 Breakfast hamper was awesome!
