Imagine on Southbank

Arrived at the Southbank location and there was no hotel there in the booking name. I thought i had been scammed. The hotel next door found the contact number for me for the company and after phoning them I was directed to another hotel which I then had to walk to. The worst communication i have ever experienced with a hotel associated with hotels.com

Very friendly and very clean great place to stay

Everything was great only I couldn’t sleep very well because there was lots of noise of air-conditioners and I think the pool pumps I could hear

Very basic property. Photos on site definitely ‘glowed up’ to suggest the hotel nicer than in reality. Overpriced for what you get.

Easy walk to most things

Unfortunately the Elevator was very slow, would miss your stop a few times.

The room was clean and spacious, we had a great view and walking distance to the places we went. They are doing renovations so the only down side was the lifts being really slow. But it didnt make a huge difference. Really affordable and I will stay again! Not alot of parking options so parked elsewhere but overall, it was perfect!

Good rooms but the lifts are a nightmare cost us alot of time getting in and out of the building very very poor experience not good enough at all.

Lift situation is appalling. Takes 20mins to get into a lift whilst 5 full lifts have passed by.

Great property and friendly staff

First day of stay the room smelled of heavy smoke and was unable to open balcony due to building maintenance. Front desk put in an ozone machine which stated in bold letters that was not to be used while the room was occupied. Was able to move rooms after one night which was a help. Second room was fine and no smell of smoke. Was charged a "Grand Prix Premium" for the last night which made the stay not worth the price.

Apartment was clean, great location and reasonably appointed however lacked a few comforts that a hotel would provide. Staff were friendly, parking nice and easy.

Convenient to Southbank area, fast check in process.

Was a pleasant experience

This place needs a major deep clean. The pool was freezing, not heated at all. They took money from my account prior to arrival, which is illegal!

Loved this place, perfect for a city stop in Melbourne. On site swimming pool and gym was an added benefit!

Not sure where to start here. Probably one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. Apartment was extremely dirty, had a terrible smell and I doubt it was even cleaned. Cigarette butts on the floor on the balcony, filthy bins and the toilets were horrendous. Pool is beyond average, wasn’t even heated it was freezing and we couldn’t even use it. I told reception multiple times and they just smirked in my face and dismissed me. The gym was tiny and barely had any equipment. Location was good and the sauna was ok. Such a disappointment to pay to stay in a nice hotel and you can’t even use the amenities. You can stay somewhere better for alot less if you’re looking for budget, I don’t know how this has such good reviews but be warned it’s average at best. The staff are extremely rude, I’ll never stay here again. Waste of time and money, don’t bother.
