Exceptional hotel
Pros:

The hotel was exceptional.
The staff, the location, the lounge area, provision for smokers, laundry, breakfast was always a highlight.
The onsen bath on our balcony was a real treat.
The beds were incredibly comfortable.
I didn't use the main onsen on the top floor but I was told that it was a beautiful space and incredibly clean.
This hotel and the facilities are better than The Shangri-La at the Shard in London, UK

Cons:

I was never able to book dinner in any hotel restaurant, even days in advance. They were always full.
