Splurge, but well worth it! Nothing beats a private onsen with suite style living.
Pros:

It was so clean and relaxing the moment you walk into the hotel lobby. You are greeted by aromatherapy wherever you go and kind staff that are there ready to assist you. My husband and I tried the traditional ryokan stays before and although it’s a wonderful cultural experience, we prefer the comfort of a modern hotel room.

Cons:

It is a bit of a walk to get there from the train station, but Atami is filled with hills and stairs no matter where you live.

Pros:

Breakfast buffet very good. French dinner quite interesting and Teppanyaki dinner good.

The rooms are very clean and well designed, pleasant and bright. The private onsen on the balcony was an excellent source of relaxation. Infinity onsen pool very good with great views.

贅沢な時間
Pros:

部屋の温泉が広く、何回入ったか分からなくなるくらい堪能しました。
