Last minute booking after ferries to Arran all cancelled. More than made up for our missed trip

Excellent stay, would definitely return.
Pros:

Central location, lovely clean room, beautiful bar area and lovely food. Also the barman made a mean cappuccino!

Cons:

No lift with property. Also, when booking requested a twin room, however, double was provided & due to being fully booked was unable to change.

Pros:

Location was very good and the local area was welcoming

Cons:

No fresh milk in the room. Lack of cupboard space and nowhere to put cases. There was also no lift

Not bad, not great. Fair to nice. Would go again.
Pros:

Close facilities, nice staff, good size room, decent en suite, nice breakfast, easy check in and out.. Would go again.

Cons:

Too hot. Had to keep the window open all night despite turning the radiator down.
The kareoke bar opposite was loud (but did stop at 10am).
Was some floor staining and some minor wear and tear but didnt seem dirty.

A mixed review...
Pros:

Hotel was very clean and comfortable and staff were lovely. We did not have an enjoyable stay but this was a result of other guests and so, largely, beyond control of staff.

Cons:

We were up for hours in the middle of the night as a result of a group of girls screaming and physically fighting with each other in the room next door. It sounded as though they were destroying the place. Eventually they were removed by the poor night porter who had to deal with them. A relaxing night away became an exhausting disaster. Again, this was not the fault of hotel staff but perhaps prohibiting hen parties/single sex groups of a certain age, might help minimise risk of this happening.

Anniversary two nights getaway .
Pros:

The staff were so friendly breakfast was 1st class the room was basic but very comfortable . Can't wait to return but next time we'll go for the superior room not much difference in the price.

Cons:

We loved everything about the hotel it was so relaxed and chilling great location. So no negatives all good .
