Even helemaal tot rust gekomen
Pros:

Geweldige wellness op de 16e etage met prachtig uitzicht. Hele mooie en schone kamers, super bedden. Lekker eten. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs een dyson föhn op de badkamer.

Cons:

Dat er kinderen waren in de wellness vond ik jammer.

Afschuwelijk ik heb overal foto s van
Pros:

Zeer teleurstellende ervaring bij Van der Valk Schiedam.

Ik verbleef hier van 13 juni tot 2 juli en betaalde ruim €5.292,86. Helaas was de kamer bij aankomst al slecht schoongemaakt: stof, een vieze kamer en onvoldoende hygiëne. Ondanks meerdere meldingen werd het probleem niet serieus opgelost en werden beloftes om terug te bellen niet nagekomen.

Als dieptepunt heb ik zelfs een muis in de eetzaal gezien. Ook hiervan heb ik foto’s en video’s.

Nog teleurstellender dan de slechte hygiëne was de manier waarop mijn klachten zijn afgehandeld. Ik voelde mij totaal niet serieus genomen en er werd vooral geprobeerd de situatie goed te praten in plaats van deze op te lossen.

Voor een hotel als Van der Valk en voor dit bedrag had ik veel meer verwacht. Helaas kan ik dit hotel niet aanbevelen.

Beautiful spacious room, hotel spa was lovely with an amazing view on the top floor

Cons:

The cost of room service is ridiculous, they should warn customers about it, went down to order some food because the phone was not being asnwer, I bought food worth just 15 euros and they slapped on 25 euros room service because I could not wait and it was brought to my room. I have never paid so much in any hotel but maybe its a Rotterdam thing, im not sure. The staff should have mentioned it because I would have waited for my food instead.

Parfait pour une étape
Pros:

La piscine et le spa au dernier étage sont très sympa!
Le restaurant était correct (plutôt bon par rapport aux Vandervalk d’Arlin et de Verviers).
La chambre était très grande. Le design de la salle de bain très beau (mais pas très pratique).

Cons:

La réceptionniste n’avait pas l’air d’avoir envie d’être là 😜!
Dans les détails: le lit était un peu mou à notre goût et le miroir de la salle de bain pas fait pour pouvoir se préparer.
