The Plaza Lodge Baguio

Checked in at 3:00 PM and by 10:30 PM, we still had no towels. This is completely unacceptable and the first time I’ve experienced a hotel allowing guests to check in without such a basic necessity.

We followed up multiple times. We went out for personal reasons and clearly informed the reception supervisor that towels could be placed inside the room while we were away. When we returned at 8:30 PM, there were still none. Repeated calls resulted only in empty promises of “follow-ups.”

This reflects poor management and very low service standards. A hotel that cannot provide basic amenities should not be accommodating guests.

Arrived around 7:30pm to check in. Room was unfortunately pre-paid and non refundable. Otherwise I would have left right away.
Was asked for a deposit. They don’t accept credit cards. Most hotels would just waive it. Oh no. This guy wanted my ID instead.

The elevator is small. The front desk guy said the luggage would follow. The bellperson/security (not sure. Was not in uniform) asked us to make space so she could shimmy in with us along with the huge luggage trolley. Hit me on the way out without so much as an excuse me or sorry. The hallway reeked of something like wet animal fur (really foul) hence the air purifier running on high along the hallway. It’s dimly lit, dank and dirty-looking because of the poor lighting.
Inside, the room is old, needs lots of work and is falling apart in many places. (See photos). Also, it was excessively warm and opening the balcony door meant hearing the constant sounds of the very busy road below.

I’d seen reviews where people were given air conditioned rooms. I call and ask. Apparently, it costs P1000 more per night. I said that there was no mention of it on the website. The same front desk guy said that it’s not in their contract to mention air conditioned rooms on any third party website.

Last time I stay in this awful place. Stay away from spend your hard earned money somewhere worth it.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, always making sure that my needs were taken care of. A special mention to the Front Office team they were so helpful throughout my stay, from check-in to check-out. Their warm service really made my experience comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and hospitality.

Very accommodating and cozy. The ambience and the view is great. The staff is very welcoming as well. Will check in again when I visiy Baguio City again.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend

I booked this hotel for a 3-day stay with my son. Unfortunately, the experience has been far from acceptable. There is no internet, no breakfast, and some floors have no electricity—with the excuse given being “low occupancy.” We’ve also seen several guests voicing their complaints just in the lobby in the past few minutes.

We’re checking out tomorrow and will not be returning. I honestly don’t understand where the positive reviews are coming from, but they don’t reflect the reality we encountered.

The rooms are very spacious and nice, the staffs are friendly and accommodating. Very nice Hotel! will surely comeback.

We were originally planned to stay just one night, but ended up extending because the room was excellent, the staff were very accommodating and the breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic.

Jimson from the restaurant is the BEST!! He is very attentive to the needs of y9ur customers. He is a JEWEL to Plaza Lodge!!

Second floor room has smelly odor like a sewage smell.from.basement 1 and up asked for a room change upper floor.when checking in ask for higher floor room since my room is facing the street car noise is heard .

OJT staff at the restaurant groups together with their backs facing the dining.no customer service nor anticipate needs

Exceptional Service and Hospitality from Sir Kristoff, Sir Nerie, and the GM!

I had the absolute pleasure of being welcomed by Sir Kristoff, Sir Nerie, and their General Manager during our recent visit, and I cannot express enough how wonderful the experience was from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, they made sure that everything was taken care of and that we felt completely at home.

I recently stayed at Plaza Lodge Baguio and was impressed by the warm and friendly hospitality of the staff. Ang babait nila! They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The room was clean and functional, though a bit basic. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Baguio. While not luxurious, Plaza Lodge offers a genuine and welcoming atmosphere, a true testament to Pinoy hospitality. Highly recommended for those seeking a friendly and affordable stay!

Had an amazing stay at Plaza Lodge, when it comes to their Breakfast Buffet they had various breakfast options to choose from (Rice meals, salads, cereals etc.) The hotel staff are also friendly and helpful, always smiling ang ready to greet you with a big smile.

The staff in hotel are all friendly, they give what I need immediately, the accommodation i feel comfortable ,the room is clean and smell so good and the ambiance of the hotel is so beautiful and the foods in pines coffee is delicious,I recommend this hotel to everyone to experience what I feel now.

when i entered the hotel, they greet me immediately so i really feel welcome, the staff, the food, the rooms and everything are perfect so i highly recommend this hotel. i enjoyed staying here and my family too.babalik at babalik ako sa hotel na to.

Maganda yung Hotel at pag greet samin ng mga staff at effortles at maganda ung mga commedition ala akong masabi kundi na satisfied ako sa mga serbisyo nila at babalik balikpapan ako dito sa Baguio at dito mag check in sa south drive plaza lodge
