Lovely introduction to Kigali!
Pros:

Comfortable, peaceful and nicely designed rooms; fantastic complimentary massage; easy late check-in experience after a late night flight.

Cons:

The made-to-order breakfasts could be better (in particular, the quality of the bread could be improved).

Beautiful design with extensive use of plants and plenty of places to sit in the common areas, despite the limited space.

Cons:

Steep climb from reception up to the road, but I think that was unavoidable. Also no pool on site and the one in Grazia Hotel that was listed as open to Nest clients was actually closed during my stay. Access to a pool was one of my reasons for booking, so it was disappointing not to get that.

Easy stay in Kigali
Pros:

A beautiful location, with lovely rooms, and very comfortable beds too. Thank you for your flexibility in meeting our needs of check in and helping us get taxis too. We will be back.

Cons:

The complimentary massage is a lovely idea but I wasn’t aware it was only in the afternoons on certain days so wasn’t able to make the most of that opportunity due to time.

Pros:

The hotel looks gorgeous! It's like a little oasis in the city. I loved the little gardens and the outdoor spaces. I enjoyed working outside my room in the sunshine. I also liked the 'eco' ethos - minimal plastic etc. All the staff were polite and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing - tables were cleared slowly and often weren't reset meaning you had to move other people's old plates to find a space to sit. Similarly, the service for dinner was tragic - over 1 hour for a some fries! IN breakfast, food was often left uncovered which meant flies could land on it. It took time before someone came to get your cooked breakfast order.
I think service was lacking - a couple of times I went to the reception and it wasn't manned. The bar staff took messages but it doesn't inspire confidence.
I think the vibe is a little too laid back for my tastes; a little more professionalism would be transformative!

Un havre de paix en plein centre
Pros:

Je ne devais y passer que quelques jours et finalement y suis restée presque deux semaines . J’avais besoin de calme et de sérénité et je l’ai trouvé au Nest. L’insonorisation est exceptionnelle, les chambres sont très bien aménagées et avec goût , la literie est confortable. Tout le personnel est très aimable et accueillant . Mention spéciale pour le manager Vincent qui a accueilli favorablement toutes mes demandes . J’ai profité des cours de yoga gratuit et de qualité dans une école à 10 min à pied . Le petit déjeuner est très bon également. Et enfin , de la végétation en abondance , qui a contribué à mon bien-être .

Cons:

Rien, je cherche et ne trouve rien à redire . Alors oui, peut être le choix de la musique lors du petit déjeuner mais c’est vraiment un détail !

Pros:

I liked that the complimentary massage was included and all the staff tired their very best to be helpful. The ambience and facility felt cozy and warm.

Cons:

Breakfast was okay, but very limited options. Felt quite trite eating the same thing every day for the four days we stayed. The road along where it’s located was under construction as well as some buildings around there. So it was dusty and did not have the best views.
