maintenance poor, tv inoperative for 4 days, no attempt to rectify. bathroom taps / hand wash leaking not rectified in 4 days. breakfast & dinner menu sad and tasteless. No non-veg item available.

Decent for an overnight stay with good food and wifi - But water heater and laundry can be better.
Pros:

I had dinner and breakfast here. Food is really good, very homely. Location of the hotel is good with snow capped peaks visible from the grounds. But all properties here would have a similar view I guess. They also have a decent wifi, I completed a Zoom call over it without any drops.

Cons:

1) The water heater in the bathroom is very slow - in both rooms we booked, after shaving with hot water, we had to take bath in cold water. It was 4 deg C outside. 2) The cleanliness of the pillows and towels were not up to the mark. We didn't feel comfortable using them. 3) Also it is a bit farther from the checkpost where you need to show the permits. So early morning when you want to travel to Zero Point and Yumthang, you will face a longer taxi queue which can eat away 30-45mins of your time.

Pros:

The location is mind blowing. We could literally see the snow capped mountains from our window. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and go out of the way to ensure that their guests are happy, by that I mean all the boys actually went down 40kms to get a cake for my daughter's birthday.

Special thanks to Abhijeet, who took good care of us. And Sanjay who always has a smile on his face.

BTW the food is great too. Not a big spread but you don't go to Lachung to just gobble, do you ;)

Nice, clean and comfortable hotel for a short stay in Lachung
Pros:

new and clean properly.

Cons:

half the time there was no electricity and without heaters they should automatically offer extra blankets in peak winters.
