I thought I had booked the hotel but got given a rubbish map to go to the lodge down the road my booking was with the hotel confirmed online not this property we were sent too!! Ran out of hot breakfast for us at 8 am !!!!

Unfortunately we were caught out by the wording on the room details. Cosy double with bathroom means attic room and bathroom down the stairs. Not much use to someone who walks with crutches.

Room was super small for the price I’ve paid. But the worse was at night when heating was switched off when outside was 0 degrees.
Hôtel incroyable. Chambres immenses très confortables et impeccables. Tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir bien. Restaurant excellent. Petit déjeuner ultra copieux avec vue sur le loch. Nous avons même vu un phoque juste devant la baie vitrée. Plusieurs petits salons collectifs si on veut. On s’y est vraiment sentis très bien et le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins. Nous ne pouvions pas rester plus longtemps quel dommage!

Place is extortionate its as simple as that, stayed in a hotel in balmacara for less than half the price and twice as good and with food literally half the price, £70 for 2 kids sized burger and chips and 2 cokes we left still hungry
This hotel is on an incredible location on the NC500, just off the Kylesku bridge with panoramic views from the dramatic surrounding loch and hills from the bar and restaurant and good views from the rooms. There is great shared common space in the form of a residents lounge. The bar and kitchen are well appointed and have great food. The staff is terrific and very caring and attentive to the needs of all travellers. The rooms are well cared for and amenitized.

The only drawback was a seperate bathroom but we did know that when we booked.

The place is very charming and welcoming with stunning views and all the faciities you might need.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had an amazing and very tasty dinner and breakfast.
There was a power cut in the area the night we spent there and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all guests have their needs met. It was lovely to watch.
