Room was great.
Breakfast was ok. Ordered scrambled egg on toast but was more like an omelette.
It was our second stay at this hotel after a first great experience and our second stay was just as fantastic. Gorgeous, luxurious room. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great location.
It seems to me that we've normalised a level of customer service post covid which is bounces around the basic/good enough mark and very rarely, if ever, stops you in your tracks. I say that as a regular traveller and one who is happy to pay more because my own bed/home is hard to leave so anywhere else needs to be "worth it". And someone, from experience, is clear that these days extra investment does not (always) equal service. Thats not me being grumpy - I love travelling and it seems we've been reset on standards.
This hotel and specifically this hotel surprised and delighted. Yay. And no small thing in a city like London.
Every single member of the staff team went above and beyond to make sure that myself and my travelling partner felt special, looked after and really cared about. Endless examples that proved this wasn't just about a hotel service, it was a baked into the way they do things, the recruitment process, the empowerment each person clearly had to make thinks easy for the guest, and beyond. 2 stand out team members; Laimonas who worked behind the bar and was a super star in terms of friendly professionalism, food recommendations, the best impromptu hot chocolates, and big smiles. And the male overnight receptionist whose name we didn't get - he was brimming with more vitality, enthusiasm and "can-do" even after working all night.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

we arrived early to drop our bags off and our room was ready - lovely little surprise. Staff were very friendly, room was comfortable and big. Bathroom was lovely too. Really good sound proofing too - coudn't hear anything outside with windows closed.

Our initial room had a problem with the electricity, so we were upgraded to a suite. This was such a pleasant surprise: the suite felt luxurious and was full of delights such as a large bath, warm toilet seats, some of the soften sheets I've slept on, etc. Loved every bit of it! We didn't get to use them much, but really liked the beautiful spaces downstairs where you could read, have a drink, etc.
El hotel es precioso! La habitación era increíble, todo super cuidado, el personal, el trato, los jabones de la marca Penghalions todo cuidado al milimetro. Un acierto, volveré seguro cuando vuelva a Londres ademas de que la ubicación es perfecta a 2 minutos del metro y super bien comunicado con toda la ciudad. Lo recomiendo 100%! Gracias.
