Sun Street Hotel Shoreditch

The attention to detail was excellent and made our stay memorable. The staff were friendly, accommodating and efficient.

Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice. We arrived after midnight, and were leaving early in the morning, and the staff was helpful both times. The room was beautiful, clean, with comfortable bed. The location is also superb, close to the tube and other public transport.

Nice room although a bit too dark with no option to open the curtains to reveal daylight in the morning. Black out lined curtains and sheer roller blinds would deliver a more user friendly environment.Great bathroom even though it was a DDA model.
Our TV was tiny & had a very poor signal so a constant flickering image on the screen was distracting & really should not be the case here n Central London.
The bed was really comfortable & we had a great night sleep. It was also really quiet even though our room was on the front elevation & in a very central location which is perfectly connected to getting around town.
Lovely decor and attention to detail.We would recommend the hotel and make a return visit.

Beautiful hotel and perfect location for ease of access and the attractions we had planned. One night get away from busy hectic life. Had everything we needed for a little relax - just wished we could have done 2 nights.

Only thing I would mention which is more due to my mobility needs - the tea and coffee making facilities was challenging for me as they was in a cupboard and to use we had to take them out (even the filling up of the coffee machine with water and the pod), It was a machine I was not familiar with so prob more of a me thing but we literally gave up and just went for breakfast instead. If we stayed longer we would have used whats app to ask for assistance from the hotel (even guidance). only thing that was missing from the room was the complimentary biscuits that are usually on the tea/ coffee facility.

Room was lovely, food was lovely - just need more time so could have chilled in the lounge and bar areas.

Sun Street Hotel is at an unbelievably central location in London (close to Liverpool Street Station). It is a boutique hotel but quite luxurious. The room we were given was quite classy and clean. They also gave us a bed for our dog, which was appreciated. We used the restaurant once for a dinner with our adult children and enjoyed it, although we had not previously tasted its specialty Peruvian cuisine. All processes were easy and we are quite happy with the hotel, including the friendly staff.

A great hidden gem close to Liverpool station. Boutique style with very friendly staff with attention to details. I will be back for sure.

Everything was very well considered and comfortable. All of the staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

It was our anniversary so we were greeted at Reception with a 'welcome drink' and our room/bed was 'decorated with towel swans and red petals - a lovely touch and we were given a lovely welcome note from the manager along with chocolate treats, very nice thank you!
the bar member of staff (Giovanni)? was very friendly and chatty

Not what we were hoping for, for the money. Staff fairly indifferent as was the whole experience. We paid a bit extra for a superior suite but ended up being allocated an ‘Accessible’ room which meant no bath and looked very functional as you’d expect . Room was cold and even after flagging it with reception it didn’t get any warmer. Similarly hot water was tepid. English breakfast was offered as Halal only so bacon wasn’t great and was also food not very hot. Such a shame as the shared spaces and I’m sure other bedrooms are delightfully appointed. It has potential to be an amazing place to stay. Staff did pick up on the fact it was our anniversary and put a card a chocolate brownie in our room. This was a nice touch but at complete odds with the rest of the experience.
